Gnosticism, Sex, Marriage, Lust, Adultery, Homosexuality

The more I read and learn, the more I see so much error in the way we are taught in churches today. What is termed Christianity today is loaded with, for one, Gnostic beliefs and not even biblical teachings. If you look at the stories in the Bible there are stories of love between two men, two women, men with many wives, men sleeping with their wives handmaids, men sleeping with concubines, and even their slaves were fair game. There is technically, what is thought in the creation story to give us a standard for marriage, which actually has no statute of marriage biblically speaking that is highly proclaimed by the conservatives of today. Adam was androgynous when God created him, which in turn means that God may be also, as well as, the angels. We know they were sexed by some means, because they came down and mated with human women. Of course this is spoken very little of in Genesis, as Genesis is just a summed up version of Jasher, and there is one small snip it of Enoch in Genesis. Both of these books should be read by any who would read the Bible, along with several other books, but are shunned by most all modern day Christians. These books are historical documents and the best way for us to determine what God’s character is like, along with the history of this world, is by reading these documents.

“Marriage does not unite one man and one woman in one flesh for the purpose of procreation and sexual enjoyment. Instead, marriage unties free Israelite men with as many women and slaves as they can reasonably support.” – Unprotected Text by Jennifer Knust

When you get to the books of Exodus and Deuteronomy, you will discover that there are some listings of the way the free men were supposed to treat the women, be it slaves or other property, seeing as they saw women as property in those days. The only problem is they are not consistent. Even the writings of Matthew, Mark, and Luke are inconsistent and contradictory. So all in all there is no explanation of marriage other than property and estate clauses for those that traded according to the bridal account for women when they married them. It’s basically a legal agreement or contract and not a spiritual one.

“(Matt. 12:48-50 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? And who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.) From Jesus’s perspective, the family is made up of fellow believers, not kin with formal ties outsiders might recognize.

(Matt. 3:9-10 And think not to say within yourselves, we have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth forth not good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. ) and therefore all people must “bear fruit worthy of repentance”

(Matt. 3:8 Bring therefore fruits meet for repentence🙂 He makes a similar point later on in His ministry: When a disciple promises to follow Jesus after first burying his father, Jesus responds, “Follow me, and let the dead bury the dead”

(Matt. 8:22) Jesus devalues literal family ties to the extent that He would rather His followers ignore the death of a parent than miss the chance to follow Him.” – Unprotected Text by Jennifer Knust

The bond that we have with our blood relatives, is not the bond that Jesus found to be important, it was the bond with those that followed Him alone, that He found to be of the utmost importance.

The “marriage laws” of those days. There are laws about Hebrew slaves, if they are bought or brought into slavery with a wife, she is to go with him and when the seven years is up for them, they will go free together, but if the slave marries while already enslaved by his master, his wife and children remain the masters property and when the seven years is up, the slave man goes free but his family is left behind to the master at that point the slave can choose to stay a slave for life to remain with his family. That doesn’t technically speak of marriage as we see it today, this would be considered ripping a family apart or committing to a life of slavery. Then again in Deuteronomy, the women are to be freed just as the men (Deut. 15:12). Nothing seems to be consistent with these different laws or rights and things have changed over time. My thoughts on this is that most of the laws were written by men, but Jesus lumped all the true laws of God up into two when He walked the earth. Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself.

Even though the Exodus and Deuteronomy laws were a set standard, it doesn’t mean they were followed, just like laws now days. These laws were many, and as I stated before they were not consistent. One instance that will show that these laws weren’t possibly always kept, like the happening between David and Bathsheba. Bathsheba became David’s wife only after he stole his neighbor’s wife and got her pregnant, yet David and Bathsheba were not accused by Nathan of violating the covenant commandments. It’s possible this is because the laws only applied to Israelites, and Uriah was a Hittite so technically they didn’t break any laws. In our eyes today this might seem like an injustice, but that is how thing were back then.

If you read the Song of Songs, the poetry is in and of itself erotic, and not in some form of eroticism within marriage. The Songs of Songs was written in a way that you have to learn how they used different terms in those days. They are not how we use them today, for example one of the phrases they used was to uncover a man’s feet, when in that time meant to sleep with him. They were descriptive by using words they had in their vocabulary to compare someone or something to what things they had seen around them. The story of Ruth tells of Naomi and Ruth’s love for one another. The same Hebrew word that is used in Genesis 2:24 to describe how Adam felt about Eve (and how spouses are supposed to feel toward each other) is used in Ruth 1:14 to describe how Ruth felt about Naomi.

dâbaq, daw-bak’; a primitive root; properly, to impinge, i.e. cling or adhere; figuratively, to catch by pursuit:—abide fast, cleave (fast together), follow close (hard after), be joined (together), keep (fast), overtake, pursue hard, stick, take.

Her feelings are celebrated, not condemned. Naomi took care of Ruth as well and they stayed together. The story of 1 and 2 Samuel tells of King David and his love for Johnathan that, At Jonathan’s funeral, David declares that “he loved Jonathan more than any woman.”

When David had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was bound to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. Saul took him that day and would not let him return to his father’s house. Then Jonathan made a covenant with David, because he loved him as his own soul. Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that he was wearing, and gave it to David, and his armor, and even his sword and his bow and his belt.” (1 Samuel 18:1-4)

This is just a couple of several Bible passages that describe and celebrate an intense love between these two men that went well beyond friendship. King David seen as a hero by most modern Christians, was technically a bisexual (which most Christians would see as an abomination, I do not), adulterous, murderer, and a thief.

Most of what you read of Paul’s writings are against women, free men being in control of women, children, and slaves. Basically, that it’s a man’s world and all should abide by anything that he says. He also said, it was better not to marry and to remain a virgin, when God told us to be fruitful and multiply to begin with, that makes his writings to be contradictory to what God ordained in the beginning. That’s not how things started out. He even put himself above all others in 1 Cor. 7:7 in his arrogance, he stated that he wished all others could be as himself. He recommended celibacy for the strong and marriage for the weak.

(This chart is taken from Unprotected Text by Jennifer Knust and is a summarization of what the different book stated about Desire, Sexual Intercourse, and Marriage.)

Author Advice about Desire Advice about Sexual Intercourse Advice about Marriage
Paul Should be controlled as much as possible. Out-of-control desire is a principal sign of abandonment by God. Avoid it if possible but, if married, have sex regularly so as to avoid temptation. If one is a man, one should not submit to sexual penetration. IF one is a women, one must submit to sexual penetration. Avoid it unless desire is unmanageable. It is intended for the weak in faith. Those ineligible for married life are not considered and thus slaves are largely excluded from Paul’s moral program.
Colossians & Ephesians Should be controlled and managed within a hierarchical household. No specific advice is given regarding the frequency and purpose of sexual intercourse. Free men should love their wives, keeping them under control. Wives, children, and slaves should obey the male head of household.
The Pastor Desire is extremely dangerous, especially for women and young men. Women must procreate if they are to be saved by God. Widows must remarry so as to avoid sexual temptation. Husbands should display their own sexual self-mastery by strictly mastering their subordinates. Male church leaders should marry only once. Virgin “widows” must marry- celibacy is impermissible for them. Those ineligible for married life cannot be leaders in the churches.

A good book to read is Unprotected Text, which is where I have taken a few quotes from and the chart above. It will bring more light to how things were around Paul’s time and even more insight to what marriage is and is not. So many things that we have been taught to be certain doctrine, and that the Bible itself is infallible are lies conjured up by men. Along with the translations changed and indoctrinated because of false religious beliefs and theology. Even the Bible calls out certain books, that we are told not to forget, but that the mass majority of Christians of today, refuse to read.

If you believe as I do that the scriptures are divinely inspired by God, God seems to be endorsing these two books. As we are told, in the mouth of two or three witnesses you can establish if a thing is true are not.

Jasher means (Hebrew) “upright”, true, just account

The name refers to the fact that the record, facts, and history are upright, correct, and thus trustworthy.

It is referenced in:

Joshua 10:13 So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself onb its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar.

2 Samuel 1:18 and he ordered that the people of Judah be taught this lament of the bow (it is written in the Book of Jashar):

2 Timothy 3:8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth.

Inferred here talking about Jannes and Jambres who opposed Moses. The only way Paul could have known this is through the book of Jasher.

Enoch was considered scripture and has been in and out of the Bible several times.

  • There are at least a hundred references in the New Testament that find precedence nowhere else in the Bible except the book of Enoch
  • Quoted by Jesus, Peter, and Jude
  • Widely known and read in the 1st Century
  • Viewed as Scripture by early Church Fathers
  • Still in Ethiopian Coptic Bible
  • Found in Dead Sea Scrolls

I have written other blogs about this if you want a deeper dig into those books.

To bring this discussion into and around marriage and see how we got our current indoctrinated point of view on sex, homosexuality, adultery, idolatry, and a few other things, we are going to discuss St. Augustine. St. Augustine of Hippo (Aurelius Augustinus) was a philosopher from A.D. 354 – 430 and was an Algerian-Roman, his philosophy infused Christianity with Gnosticism and Neoplatonism. He is famous for being an inimitable Catholic theologian and for his agnostic contributions to Western philosophy. When Augustine was young he was one to go about in sexual relationships with men and women and he was not shamed to speak of it, but when he got older he reflected on his youth and began to teach that sex is wrong. Manicheans criticized the scriptures, mainly the Old Testament and held chastity and self-denial in honor.

Augustine was “a lively, sensual, hot-tempered person, entirely taken up with his worldly concerns, and unfriendly to Christianity until the close of his life, he became a catechumen (a Christian convert under instruction before baptism) shortly before Augustine reached his sixteenth year (369-370). To his mother Monnica (so the manuscripts write her name, not Monica; b. 331, d. 387) Augustine later believed that he owed what lie became. But though she was evidently an honorable, loving, self-sacrificing, and able woman, she was not always the ideal of a Christian mother that tradition has made her appear. Her religion in earlier life has traces of formality and worldliness about it; her ambition for her son seems at first to have had little moral earnestness and she regretted his Manicheanism more than she did his early sensuality. It seems to have been through Ambrose and Augustine that she attained the mature personal piety with which she left the world. Of Augustine as a boy his parents were intensely proud. He received his first education at Thagaste, learning, to read and write, as well as the rudiments of Greek and Latin literature, from teachers who followed the old traditional pagan methods. He seems to have had no systematic instruction in the Christian faith at this period, and though enrolled among the catechumens, apparently was near baptism only when an illness and his own boyish desire made it temporarily probable.” (You can learn more about St. Augustine here: http://www.iep.utm.edu/augustin/ )

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lasciviousness is not about sex or lust. Many people think that this means that they were overwhelmingly sexual or lustful or full of desire. This phrase is about doctrine that leads to a certain mentality. Lasciviousness really means, our own selfish desires, our own selfish way about things. Hebrews Strong’s says, unbridled lust (not necessarily sex), licentiousness, wantonness, outrageousness, shamelessness, and insolence. Being that he taught this theology in this Paradigm, he is the one who started the church towards anti-sex theology.

Romans 6:1-4 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?  God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?  Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Paul was dealing with Manikin Gnostic theology. The idea of the demiurge creating the physical realm and trapping the spirit light in these bodies. The Manikin Gnostics along with St Augustine believed that if you sinned the spirit light left your body. St. Augustine practiced and studied this for nine years before he became a Christian. You releasing the spirit light was seen as good, because you do your sin, you know it’s wrong, but you do it anyway because releasing the spirit light from your body is considered a righteous deed. This all ties into the Marcion Heresy that teaches that the god of the Old Testament is the demiurge. Basically, it was believed that this evil physical god (demiurge) trapped (Christ) the spirit light into your body and you had to let him out. Tertullian wrote against this belief. They went about this in two ways, you could commit evil acts and your spirit light is released, or you avoid doing evil period. These two ways of living were complete opposites based from the same theology.

St. Augustine’s own history reflects that he is a heretic. He had his own concubine that he was with but not married to yet he taught that all sex is sinful. He thought that God put up with people getting married for procreation. He felt guilty for being with the concubine and so he found a girl and married her but ended up divorcing her and went back to his concubine. He could have simply married his concubine and dealt with his natural sexual desires instead of fighting against what God naturally gave him as a desire. He even admitted having sexual relationships with men in his younger years, and possibly even as a Christian. So he taught about sex in general being bad, but all the while, he was doing the very things that he counted as sin. In doing so, he made something that is not a sin to be a sin in the eyes of others, and in turn causing the denial of such natural desires that were given by God to actually be sin because it is a rejection of a gift of God.

Something to note is that St. Augustine is considered number two in the church among Catholics and Protestants, that right there should tell you, that there is problem and a need to seek after God through guidance from the Holy Spirit and NOT the standardized church. I know some people fear that they are not smart enough to research and learn, but I’m no genius and have never claimed to be such. My drive to seek God was given by God, He gave me the ability to do the things I do, and I hated reading until I got a desire to know Him and to know I was not going to hell like I had been told so many times by others that follow the standard church. He gave me faith and has made that faith grow more and more over the years. It’s not a matter of smarts, but a matter of love for Elohim. The more you seek, the more the Spirit will reveal to you and you will find others that are likeminded to learn and grow with you, even if they are miles away. The world has many distractions like music and TV, things that are constant noise to drown out that still small voice. You have to have silent time with the Holy Spirit or you will never hear Her voice. I still enjoy these things, but I make sure to make a silent time to listen.

Now back to St. Augustine. St. Augustine’s theology was based off of Gnosticism and the things he taught about sex were lies as well as him being hypocritical while teaching them, right along with teaching things that weren’t biblical and stemmed from his past beliefs in Gnosticism, Neoplatonism, and pagan beliefs. St. Augustine was part of the Latin School of Theology and all the other schools of theology where shunned and shutdown which is why we do not hear about them, Rome was in charge and they forced the belief of the Latin School on all people (there is proof of this in the time of the reformation when Rome came against all Christians and killed so many of them).

It seemed that the concoction of Pagan, Gnostic, and Neoplatonism that Augustine carried with him was just melded into Christianity and has become a religion instead of the Spiritual based faith, the truth of our world and our Creator which is not religion, man created religion. So this is what Paul was referring to at that time, he was preaching against the Gnostic beliefs, they sinned intentionally because they thought that it released the spirit light from their body. This is why he wrote, “shall we continue in sin that grace may abound,” he was preaching against the Gnostics. These are the men that crept in unawares in Jude. This is why sex is seen as a bad thing now days in more ways than not, sex out of marriage is a huge deal today, sex between two women, or two men, it all stems from the Gnostic belief. We also get our theology on Hell, infant baptisms, the thought of women being evil, sexual desire being evil, erections being sinful, and many other things from St. Augustine which are also incorrect, he was one of the many that Jude 1:4 was warning us about. He believed that sin was transferred by seamen and if you were born, you would go to hell if you died a baby before being baptized. Seems like he missed everything that Christ was about.

Here is a document about Eternal Punishment in Augustine’s The City of God: “In many ways, Saint Augustine of Hippo (354-430) was the most influential post-Pauline theologian in Christendom…. Any disagreement with his writings is tantamount to heresy, and this applies equally to Catholic and Protestant traditions… Many major themes of Christian thought can be traced to Augustine. These include the Just War theory, the Trinity, and Original Sin. Augustine had a profound influence on the Doctrine of Eternal Punishment.” You can read more of this at: https://soundandsilence.wordpress.com/2009/01/13/eternal-punishment-in-augustine%E2%80%99s-the-city-of-god/

To learn even more about St. Augustine’s beliefs, you can watch this youtube video:  St. Augustine’s Philosophy and Theology

The reason Augustine taught eternal torment, is because he believed the physical was evil and it had to be tortured according to Gnostic theology. He basically tried to interpret the Bible through Gnostic eye glasses so to speak. The teachings stuck from the fourth century because Rome was in power and Rome promoted him and enforced this doctrine on the world, but this has been the age of darkness, the keys to the scripture had been hidden for so long, and now God has allowed the keys to the scriptures, back into the hands of His children. The only place that Rome had no power over was Ethiopia, and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church is the only place that still has the book of Enoch in its canon. Rome did try to go and enforce the canon without Enoch on the Ethiopian Church, which did not work, as well as worshiping on Sunday, but they knew it was wrong, so they apparently did it for short time and then went back to worshiping on Saturday. Rome had wiped the book of Enoch out of every other church canon. The main promoter of the removal of the book of Enoch was St. Augustine, he thought the book was evil. His doctrine was completely satanic, his doctrine came from Manichean Gnosticism, which was preached against by John, Paul, and Jude, and remember Jude told us to remember the book of Enoch. Enoch was forgotten beyond the Ethiopian Church, and still today most Christians refuse to read the book of Enoch, even though it has now been release back into their possession.

1 Timothy 4:1-5 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Note that here marriage was already a strong belief in the church, but in reading all the Old Testament text, you rarely if ever see one man and one woman in a relationship. Yet, this is another warning, that in the later times, people would forbid to marry as the Catholics require their priests to do(1120 A.D.) and they saw sex as sinful but if they were married they could have sex. The main group that does this is the Western Catholic Church, Rome. When they did this in 1120 A.D, all the priest that were married had to have their marriages annulled, so they ripped apart families. The Latin school of theology taught that it was sinful to have sex, so priest couldn’t have sex or be married in order to be holy. They took so many things that God meant for good and made them appear to be evil. Again, from 1 Timothy 4:3 they took these things that God created for good and forbid them or abstain from them. Note that Jerome went right along with St. Augustine.

Just to point out, hyper Calvinism is the same as Manichean Gnosticism. They think they can sin all they want, they think all they have to do is have faith. Basically, they can sin all week and go to church on Sunday and get right with God. Another thing to point out within all this is that these men (Pharisees) that try to keep themselves from having any desire for sex or women and can’t do so, so they have an inward hate for women. They can’t be freed from women, because of the drive that God gave us, they even said things like the woman is the root of all evil and numerous other things. The woman and Adam ate of the tree.

And do you not know that you are (each) an Eve? The sentence of God on this sex of yours lives in this age: the guilt must, of necessity live too. You are the devil’s gateway: you are the unsealer of that (forbidden) tree: you are the first deserter of the divine law: you are she who persuaded him whom the devil was not valiant enough to attack. You destroyed so easily God’s image, man.     –Tertullian.

Here is a really great study by a brother in Christ pertaining to the same things we are talking about here, that might give you even more insight on how they perceived women and how the devil worked that in, over time. http://www.godrules.net/articles/earlychurch-on-sex.htm

St. Augustine, just like Tertullian looks at woman and sex as evil, but those are lies that the devil swayed them to believe to make the beauty of sexuality that God gave us as a gift, to seem like something awful.

It’s true that many people in the Christian religion believe that lust is bad, and they use Matt. 5:27-28, but there is good and bad terms for lust. Check this out.

What is “lusting”? Most of you have this definition coming to mind “any sexual thought for the opposite sex”. And yes, I used to have the same definition, until, again, I actually studied scripture and Greek to decipher what the term actually meant.

The term means to “covet” or “desire with intent to steal” plain and simple. This Greek word (1937) has no “sexual” connotation to it, as the very same word is used as “desire” in other passages, such as “desire the Office of Bishop…desireth a good work” – 1 Timothy 3:1. Now, do you remember which of the Ten Commandments mentions this type of desire or coveting? Yes, it is the 10th commandment. So, Jesus was quoting the “thou shalt not covet .. thy neighbor’s wife”. Why haven’t you ever heard that before? Doesn’t that make a lot of sense, seeing God is the same, yesterday, today and forever? So, quite literally, Jesus first stated the 7th commandment, “Thou shalt not commit adultery”, then he explained the theology behind the 7th commandment with the 10th commandment, “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife“. He was showing how the people of the day were not looking at the intent behind the 7th commandment.

Here is further proof that Jesus was quoting the 10th of the 10 Commandments:

LXX- Greek Septuagint “γυναικα 1135 του 3588 πλησιον 4139 σου 4675 ουκ 3756 επιθυμησεις 1937 5692” – Exodus 20:17

Greek Textus Receptus “γυναικα 1135 προς 4314 το 3588 επιθυμησαι 1937 5658” – Matthew 5:28

Note the same key terms for “woman” and “lust” are present within both passages, showing Christ was paraphrasing the 10th Commandment. The IVP Bible Background Commentary explains:

“The Greek word here is the same as in the opening line of the tenth commandment in the Septuagint (the Greek version of the Old Testament): ‘You shall not desire your neighbor’s wife’ (Exodus 20:17)” – The IVP Bible Background Commentay: New Testament, Matthew 5:27-30

How do we know that the common viewpoint on Matthew 5:27-28 is irreparably in error? Well, if the Greek term “gunh” meant “any woman” and we take the Greek meaning of the term “lust” (which means any desire in general), we discover the passage to be saying literally, “whosoever looks at a woman and desires her has committed adultery in her heart”. Which means you literally cannot desire any woman in general and would have to conclude that all men have sinned being in any relationship with a woman, even if they had the most innocent of “desires”. So, revisiting Jesus’ statement, we see that woman is “wife”, lust is “covet” and adultery is “unlawful intercourse with another man’s wife”. –Godrules.net

So looking back at this passage that they cling to, to make sex and lust bad you can now see that it really means this:

Matthew 5:27-28 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery (unlawful intercourse w/ another man’s wife): But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh (sets mind upon) on a woman (wife) to lust (desire or covet) after her hath committed adultery (unlawful intercourse w/ another man’s wife) with her already in his heart.

Another thing to point out as well since we are talking about lust, is adultery. Here is another bit that will help you understand that a little better.

The “gist” of the term adultery, if you research the Greek and Hebrew it has to do with a “contractual agreement” between you and your wife (wives) or between you and God. This is why adultery can also refer to idolatry (same also with the term “fornication”), as idolatry is a form of cheating on God, by worshipping a false god. So, even though adultery’s original definition takes into consideration polygamy, in the case where you commit yourself only to one woman, you make a contractual agreement with her. So, this means, going out and cheating is equivalent to adultery, even though, technically, it does not fall directly under the definition of adultery. It is the Spirit of the Law, as you can see and the point is, you made a contract with your wife and you are to abide in the contract. –Godrules.net

You can read more on this as well as the above statements about lust, here: http://www.godrules.net/articles/mat5.htm

God made us to have desire for another, be it man or woman that is part of being human.  So amidst all the religion that has come about because of man, this is one thing that has apparently had a lot of influence on it.  I’ll remind you religion is the beguilement of God’s people, none of it is for the good of human kind, it is varying and continuously causes division amongst people, self-mutilation, self-denial of things God meant for good, and there are many other aspects of it. Though there may be churches that support the homeless or do other things for a good cause, if they are religious and not spiritually focus, they are likely one that causes division, and one thing that shows the lack of Christ within, is a place that causes division among people.  Christ ate with sinners, which no one on this earth can say they are not a sinner, we all need our Creator to sustain us and even more so to save us from our own sins, and the fallen angels and the evil they have developed since they made the decision to war against God Himself.

Augustine argued as I stated above, that physical erections are a physical expression of the sin of lust. It’s a natural thing and I’m sure you have noticed that the priests and preachers that deny themselves to fulfill their natural desire end up committing even worse acts because their desire becomes so overwhelming for them, that they end up doing something that actually is bad. Augustine felt that he was a slave to his sexual impulses, because they are natural impulses and he kept denying himself, so he ended up going back and doing what he was teaching was wrong, because it was natural. His concubine even had his son, and he admitted to his sexual happenings throughout his life. He made sex and women his enemy. He felt that this is why the world was corrupt, which he got from Genesis, the statement about being against nature which was all because of the fallen angels coming down and mating with humans. When you read against nature in the story of Sodom, it is stated that way because they were trying to rape angels, it has nothing to do with the fact that they were men, because they were not men, they were angels. You can confirm this if you will read the book of Jasher chapters 18 and 19, and the Bible actually tells you that the book of Jasher is a good book in multiple places as I stated above. It explains the kind of people that were in Sodom. These people might have been bisexual or heterosexual, but they were not homosexuals because it states that they were married. Those people just committed evil acts towards one another and terrible things to those that entered the cities as foreigners. The book of Naphtali also talks about angels and humans. To find anything close to the truth, you have to venture outside of the Biblical canon of today, you have to look in the Greek and Hebrew, and in history in general. The biggest and most important thing is you have to make time to listen to the Spirit, She is wisdom and She will teach you the truth if you will allow Her to do so.

The base points of this study are that there are so many different things that have been construed because of religion.  We have to really dig and make sense of this in the view of God and not the view of man.  We have to see marriage for what it is, it is a legal contract, not one man and one woman.  Sex is not bad, sex outside of the marriage contract is not bad, stealing another person’s husband or wife is bad, and lust is not bad unless it is a lust for another person’s husband or wife with intent to steal.  Adultery is the breaking of the agreement with your wife by going outside the contract basically or even with God by worshiping false gods. God gave us so many things in this life that are meant for good and Lucifer and his followers want to destroy those gifts and us or to make it hard on us in any way they can, because they can’t hurt God physically. God loves His creation so much, that creation being us and the heavenly being as well, the fallen ones want to hurt us in place of seeking to hurt God.

I talked to a friend this past weekend about God and some of the ways we see His character and how difficult it is basically through the fog of what we are given and taught to really see who He is, but our need more than anything is to desire that relationship with our Creator and the Spirit of that Creator, so that we can learn more from the source instead of always just listening and following along like sheep lead astray by wolves. The fact is we do sin, but some of what religion has made out to be sin, is not sin until we follow along with it, because it is denial of God’s gifts, the parable of the talents teaches us this (Matt. 25:14-30). God says again and again in Revelation that we must be overcomers, and we really need to see spiritually as well as physically what He meant by that, we have to overcome the lies of this world, and seek after the truth, God’s truth and not man’s false truth.

So to sum this up, you see that they made women and lust out to be evil, and sex to be bad and of the devil basically. They forced out all the schools of theology but the Latin school of theology. Even after the protestant reformation, they still carried on Augustine’s theology. Augustine is the central reason we have eternal torment in hell, that sex before or outside of marriage is bad, and that any form of desire is bad.  A few of the ways you can learn all this and find the proof of it is by taking an old Strong’s Concordance and a new one and you will see many of the terms have changed meanings (An example would a word like fornication, it meant idolatry and adultery, it did not mean sex before marriage, and orgies meant sacred rites worship (Idolatry) where today it would mean a sex party.), you can look back in the Greek and Hebrew and find many things skewed, and just taking a look at the history of the times and seeing what was going on around these people when they wrote these books will help you see the light in the matter.  Note that the Hebrew Masoretic text is not as accurate as the Greek, it does not match up with the Dead Sea Scrolls, but the Greek does, and the Hebrew Masoretic text is what our Bibles today are based off of. If you have read all the way to this point, something in you is telling you to dig and seek God through the Holy Spirit. So be an overcomer and overcome the lies of religion.

One other thing that I want to reiterate that I’ve covered in my other blogs is Romans 1.

Romans 1:22-25 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

People assume that it is automatically talking about homosexuals here, but we don’t all worship falsely, there are many of us that worship God, we love God. What this is talking about is someone who worships creation and does unclean acts at the same time, so they are basically committing an idolatrous act right along with an adulterous act. This kind of goes back to Genesis where the whole earth is corrupt and then also the book of Enoch where the fallen angels came down, and mated with animals as well as humans.

Romans 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

These people are using sex to worship fallen angels (false gods), it’s idolatry, that is why it is stated that they are working that which is unseemly, this was done in Leviticus 18:21-22 as well, they were having sex in worship to Moloch. The men and women stated in these verses are temple prostitutes or the people in general having sex be it heterosexual sex or homosexual sex, to a false god. So if one human being has sex with another human being, it is not against nature, but if a human has sex with an animal or angel that is against nature. Again, you can read in the books of Enoch, Jasher, and Naphtali about things being against nature. That’s why God said in Genesis 1:24-25 about each beast that he created being with its own kind and God saw that as good. It’s not bad when we are with our own kind, what is seen as bad by God is when we mix with other kinds that are not our own. People try to make it seem liken gays are bad, because of their point of view they have been taught by the corrupt translations that gay is sinful in their eyes just like sex before marriage, they don’t even try to see what is really stated here. If we look at the animals of the world today, you will find many of them that will have sex between two females or two males, but they will not go outside their kind.

And lastly I leave you with this…

2 Timothy 2:15 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The Trinity

It is believed and taught that God is all male, let’s think about this though. Let’s look at the verses in the Bible that are read and the true meaning overlooked or certain words translated out and others put in their place to speak of things very differently, by the Scribes and Pharisees and those that stand behind the pulpit, who tell otherwise.

Genesis 1
26 And God saith, `Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over fish of the sea, and over fowl of the heavens, and over cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth.’ 27 And God prepareth the man in His image; in the image of God He prepared him, a male and a female He prepared them.

The trinity does not just consist of a male figure with two other male figures, it consists of a male, a female, and a child or God the Father, Holy Spirit the Mother, and Christ the Child. They are also mind, spirit, and body, as God is the head of things, the Holy Spirit the spirit, and Christ is the body as He did come in the flesh. Which we are also made, Men in the image of God, Women are made as the Holy Spirit, and children are made a child, like Jesus.

Let us “make man” in this sense basically means human kind, which is made in their (Our) image. So we are made in the same image in which our Creator(s) is, we are built just like them. Somehow in all the teachings, just like many other things, we have lost the true meaning of who “God” really is, along with how God is Love and so many other things, over time. Christ said, He would return one day and He has, but people are unaware of Him for the most part. He said, He would be like a thief in the night, you won’t even know He is here and so it is today. People think He will literally descend from a cloud, but that’s not true, people miss the spiritual aspects of things that are given to us Biblically along with the other books that people should be reading, which also plays into this misconception about the Holy Spirit, She is the spiritual aspect of things. She is the Mother, Mary whom gave birth to Jesus here on earth is not the Mother of us all, The Holy Spirit is the Mother of humanity.

Luke 7
33 `For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and ye say, He hath a demon; 34 the Son of Man came eating and drinking, and ye say, Lo, a man, a glutton, and a wine drinker, a friend of tax-gatherers and sinners; 35 and the wisdom was justified from all her children.’

Wisdom is the Holy Spirit, and wisdom should always be spoken of as her or she.

Proverbs 8
Doth not wisdom call? And understanding give forth her voice? 2 At the head of high places by the way, between the paths she hath stood, 3 at the side of the gates, at the mouth of the city, the entrance of the openings, she crieth aloud, 4 `Unto you, O men, I call, And my voice [is] unto the sons of men. 5 Understand, ye simple ones, prudence, and ye fools, understand the heart, 6 Hearken, for noble things I speak, And the opening of my lips [is] uprightness. 7 For truth doth my mouth utter, and an abomination to my lips [is] wickedness. 8 In righteousness [are] all the sayings of my mouth, nothing in them is forward and perverse. 9 All of them [are] plain to the intelligent, And upright to those finding knowledge. 10 Receive my instruction, and not silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold. 11 For better [is] wisdom than rubies, yea, all delights are not comparable with it. 12 I, wisdom, have dwelt with prudence, and a knowledge of devices I find out. 13 The fear of Jehovah [is] to hate evil; Pride, and arrogance, and an evil way, and a forward mouth, I have hated. 14 Mine [is] counsel and substance, I [am] understanding, I have might. 15 By me kings reign, and princes decree righteousness, 16 by me do chiefs rule, and nobles, all judges of the earth. 17 I love those loving me, and those seeking me earnestly do find me. 18 Wealth and honour [are] with me, lasting substance and righteousness. 19 Better [is] my fruit than gold, even fine gold, and mine increase than choice silver. 20 In a path of righteousness I cause to walk, in midst of paths of judgment, 21 to cause my lovers to inherit substance, yea, their treasures I fill. 22 Jehovah possessed me — the beginning of His way, before His works since then. 23 From the age I was anointed, from the first, from former states of the earth. 24 In there being no depths, I was brought forth, In there being no fountains heavy [with] waters, 25 before mountains were sunk, before heights, I was brought forth. 26 While He had not made the earth, and out-places, and the top of the dusts of the world. 27 In His preparing the heavens I [am] there, in His decreeing a circle on the face of the deep, 28 in His strengthening clouds above, in His making strong fountains of the deep, 29 in His setting for the sea its limit, and the waters transgress not His command, in His decreeing the foundations of earth, 30 then I am near Him, a workman, and I am a delight — day by day. Rejoicing before Him at all times, 31 rejoicing in the habitable part of His earth, and my delights [are] with the sons of men. 32 And now, ye sons, hearken to me, yea, happy are they who keep my ways. 33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and slight not. 34 O the happiness of the man hearkening to me, to watch at my doors day by day, to watch at the door-posts of my entrance. 35 For whoso is finding me, hath found life, and bringeth out good-will from Jehovah. 36 And whoso is missing me, is wronging his soul, all hating me have loved death!

This is a really good description of some of the things that she is, and where she was before the world was completely put together.

John 16
7 `But I tell you the truth; it is better for you that I go away, for if I may not go away, the Comforter will not come unto you, and if I go on, I will send Him unto you; 8 and having come, He will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment; 9 concerning sin indeed, because they do not believe in me;

Jesus said, “He must go so that so that the Comforter could come to us.” The He in verses seven and eight was translated from Her, to it, and finally to Him. They changed the word over time. In Genesis 1:2 it says, “the earth hath existed waste and void, and darkness [is] on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God fluttering on the face of the waters.” This confirms the above passage of Proverbs 8 and how the Holy Spirit is describe there.

Another thing I’d like to point out here is that this says, “Concerning sin indeed, because they do not believe in me.” This is pointing out that sin is disbelief, which is why James 2:10 says where you fail at one commandment, you have technically broken them all. We will all break one and likely more than that, but our SIN (singular) is unbelief, which is the core of where the devil deceives us and where the breaking of the commandments is centered.

We also need to realize, that it is hard to know someone who is portrayed to you very differently than they truly are, not only have many of the truths of God been hidden, but the Holy Spirit has been translated and taught as an it or a he when She is our Mother and the Mother of Christ Himself.

James 2 10 for whoever the whole law shall keep, and shall stumble in one [point], he hath become guilty of all;

Isaiah 11 2 Rested on him hath the Spirit of Jehovah, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and might, The spirit of knowledge and fear of Jehovah. 3 To refresh him in the fear of Jehovah, And by the sight of his eyes (She) he judges not, Nor by the hearing of (Her) his ears decides.

There are many different verses that refer to the Spirit as “She” who is Wisdom. In fact the book of Wisdom is another of the many books that were taken away from God’s people and has assisted in leading us away from God and the trinity of who they are three in one. These verses describe the Holy Spirit in a little more detail.

Wisdom 7
22 For wisdom, which is the worker (fashioner) of all things, taught me: for in her is an understanding spirit holy, one only, manifold, subtil, lively, clear, undefiled, plain, not subject to hurt, loving the thing that is good quick, which cannot be letted, ready to do good, 23 Kind to man, steadfast, sure, free from care, having all power, overseeing all things, and going through all understanding, pure, and most subtil, spirits. 24 For wisdom is more moving than any motion: she passeth and goeth through all things by reason of her pureness. 25 For she is the breath of the power of God, and a pure influence flowing from the glory of the Almighty: therefore can no defiled thing fall into her. 26 For she is the brightness of the everlasting light, the unspotted mirror of the power of God, and the image of his goodness. 27 And being but one, she can do all things: and remaining in herself, she maketh all things new: and in all ages entering into holy souls, she maketh them friends of God, and prophets. 28 For God loveth none but him that dwelleth with wisdom. 29 For she is more beautiful than the sun, and above all the order of stars: being compared with the light, she is found before it. 30 For after this cometh night: but vice shall not prevail against wisdom. 8:1 Wisdom reaches from one end to another mightily: and sweetly doth she order all things. 2 I loved her, and sought her out from my youth, I desired to make her my spouse, and I was a lover of her beauty. 3 In that she is conversant with God, she magnifies her nobility: yea, the Lord of all things Himself loved her. 4 For she is privy to the mysteries of the knowledge of God, and a lover of his works. 5 If riches be a possession to be desired in this life; what is richer than wisdom, that works all things?

Let’s talk about the woman and the roll she is to play in comparison to the Holy Spirit and how so many things have been mistranslated because of the fact that they changed the Holy Spirit in some places to a he or it instead of leaving it as she.

1Timothy 2
11 Let a woman in quietness learn in all subjection, 12 and a woman I do not suffer to teach, nor to rule a husband, but to be in quietness, 13 for Adam was first formed, then Eve, 14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman, having been deceived, into transgression came, 15 and she shall be saved through the child-bearing, if they remain in faith, and love, and sanctification, with sobriety.

They did not translate this correctly where they used the word quietness, they should have used the word hidden. The woman was created, hidden inside the man because she was formed from his rib. This also refers to the Holy Spirit as she is hidden inside us and teaches us. So they changed one word and changed the whole meaning of what these verses were meant to say. Women are not to be silent, but to teach. The Mother and the Father are higher in standing and power then the son Christ, as Christ did come from the Father and the Holy Spirit, as she is the Mother of us all. That still small voice of God that speaks to us, is Her, the Holy Spirit. In comparison, the whore of Babylon is loud but the Holy Spirit is the still small voice teaching us lovingly like the Mother that she is to each of us.

Another thing to note here is that back in the times of Christ, when a man would marry a woman he would go away for a year to prepare the home for them and the woman would stay with the her Mother to be prepared for her husband. We (humanity/the church) are referred to throughout scripture as the bride of Christ. So Christ left to go and prepare a place for us, but He left with us, His Mother, the Holy Spirit to guide us along the way while He is preparing our home for us to be with Him.

In a relationship the male is to be selfless to the woman and she to him, he is over her in the way only that he would do anything and everything for the female in the relationship. The same as Christ gave His life for His bride, us.

Again, this is another thing that has been stripped away from the Church, how can you know who She is with all they have taken away and changed, and how can you have a relationship with Her if you do not know who She is.

John 14
26 and the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he (She) will teach you all things, and remind you of all things that I said to you.

There is not Greek term here for this to be translated as a he, and Hebrew which was the original language of God, has this stated as a female. This is even more evidence as to why we need to pray and listen to the Holy Spirit, there are errors that have been translated in, throughout the Bible and we need Her to help us to see through them, to see the truth. We need to seek after God constantly and even more so when we are reading and learning the Word of God. There really is a lot of evidence that the Holy Spirit is a female, you just have to look and acknowledge it, but many people refuse to do so.

This is why I have grown to learn so much about standardized religion, I refuse to be a part of it any longer. I thought for a while that I might get some good things from it and that somehow I could find a church that would provide me the wisdom and truth I was so hungry for, but the truth is that, that wisdom can only be found in the Holy Spirit and my relationship with God, Her, and Christ. Since I started praying more and seeking after the truth and confiding in the Holy Spirit to teach me, I have learned so many things and I’ve heard that still small voice so many times throughout this journey.

The Holy Spirit kept telling me God made you the way you are for a reason, and the church kept telling me I was wrong, an abomination, and going to hell. As you can imagine this was a hard and harsh struggle I had to dig myself free from and it took so many years of struggle for me to see the truth was speaking to me the whole time. I was afraid to listen to the voice of love and sought to listen to man because I thought they were trying to help me. Man is flawed and in error more so than not, which is why anything we read, study, listen to, watch, or talk about with others, needs to be done prayerfully.

Let’s look at a few more verses that were translated incorrectly about the Holy Spirit.

John 14
16 and I will ask the Father, and another Comforter (She) He will give to you, that (She) he may remain with you — to the age; 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world is not able to receive, because it doth not behold (Her) him, nor know (Her) him, and ye know (Her) him, because (She) he doth remain with you, and shall be in you. 18 `I will not leave you bereaved, I come unto you; 19 yet a little, and the world doth no more behold me, and ye behold me, because I live, and ye shall live;

Genesis 2:18 points out the helper and comforter is woman, and the Holy Spirit is a helper and a comforter for the church. There are several parallels throughout the Books God has provided us to learn and get to know Him, The Holy Spirit, and Christ.

Proverbs 5
15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, even flowing ones out of thine own well. 16 Let thy fountains be scattered abroad, in broad places rivulets of waters. 17 Let them be to thee for thyself, and not to strangers with thee. 18 Let thy fountain be blessed, and rejoice because of the wife of thy youth,

Here it is referring to the woman as a well or fountain of water. Then Jesus speaks of the Holy Spirit as well of water or living water.

John 4
5 He cometh, therefore, to a city of Samaria, called Sychar, near to the place that Jacob gave to Joseph his son; 6 and there was there a well of Jacob. Jesus therefore having been weary from the journeying, was sitting thus on the well; it was as it were the sixth hour; 7 there cometh a woman out of Samaria to draw water. Jesus saith to her, `Give me to drink;’ 8 for his disciples were gone away to the city, that they may buy victuals; 9 the Samaritan woman therefore saith to him, `How dost thou, being a Jew, ask drink from me, being a Samaritan woman?’ for Jews have no dealing with Samaritans. 10 Jesus answered and said to her, `If thou hadst known the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to thee, Give me to drink, thou wouldest have asked him, and he would have given thee living water…. 13 Jesus answered and said to her, `Everyone who is drinking of this water shall thirst again; 14 but whoever may drink of the water that I will give him, may not thirst — to the age; and the water that I will give him shall become in him a well of water, springing up to life age-during.’

John7
37 And in the last, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, `If any one doth thirst, let him come unto me and drink; 38 he who is believing in me, according as the Writing said, Rivers out of his belly shall flow of living water;’ 39 and this he said of the Spirit, which those believing in him were about to receive; for not yet was the Holy Spirit, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

The Holy Spirit is here as a Mother for us, to prepare us as a bride for Christ. She is the truth, wisdom, knowledge, comfort, care giver, and so much more to us. She is love, she does not promote fear or pain or suffering, like the whore of Babylon does. She is the guide of the true church, but there is a deceiver, a whore that is a false church that is also out trying to guide the world and the world would rather listen to her lies and step into her suffering than listen to the One God sent for us. There are many now days that appear to be catching on the false church’s chaos and lies, and turning to the truth, but they appear to be few when put up against those who follow the whore.

We need to be mindful of who we are worshiping and following after. Just because a church has a Bible they read from, does not mean they are leading the people to Christ and they tend to miss leading people to the Holy Spirit. If they are unwilling to read the other books and study and learn from them as well, they are likely missing much of what is to be known to us, to help us to know the truth. Even their words can meld around Him and they will still be praying to and worshiping something else. We need to know the truth of who God is, who the Holy Spirit is, and who Christ is to understand the lies of this present religion that calls itself by many different names, but is but one, the whore.

Choose this day whom you will serve, as for me and my house we will serve Christ, we will gain wisdom and knowledge from the Holy Spirit, and we will worship and give praises to God the Father.

Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. Ephesians 5:11

The Epistle of Paul to Titus

Titus 1

1 Paul a servant of God, and an Apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth, which is according unto godliness.

Paul writes to us in parables and codes. He speaks to those in his day and age, but he is also speaking across time to the elect at the end of time. He is speaking to people who go from the level of the flesh or what men say, to the spiritual level meaning. This is patterned after what Jesus said in the gospels when he asked, “Who do men say that I am, and then he asks Simon Bar Jonah (Peter) who do you say that I am? And he said, you are the Christ” (Mark 8:27-29, Luke 9:18-20, Matthew 16:13-20). The name given to “Jesus” at birth corresponds to the fleshly manifestation of Him on this earth, but the Christ corresponds to His Spiritual manifestation of Him on the earth. When men study the scriptures and try to scrutinize the meaning of scriptures, and they don’t understand the paradigm of Paul speaking across time or the paradigm, of Paul being a living parable of his own word. 2 Peter 3 it says that unlearned men will wrestle with the wisdom that is given to Paul to their own destruction. It’s speaking of the destruction of the 2000 year age of what men say. If you are subject to the fleshly level of interpretation, you are a slave to that fleshly level. The people didn’t understand that Jesus wasn’t some reincarnated version of Jeremiah or Elijah or John the Baptist or another prophet. When Peter says You are the Chist, Christ as being revealed by the Father, which is why Jesus said on this rock (Christ/what is revealed by the Father) I shall build my church and Jesus is revealed by men. Falling from grace is going from Christ to Jesus. When you go from Jesus to Christ, you have gone from what men say to what God has revealed to you.

2 Unto the hope of eternal life, which God that cannot lie, hath promised before the world began: 3 But hath made his word (Jesus) manifest in due time (God’s time) through the preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Savior: 4 [j]To Titus my natural son according to the common faith, Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

Paul is committed to manifest the word through preaching. The manifestation of the Word is the hope of eternal life.

5 [l]For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou should continue to redress the things that remain, and should ordain Elders in every city as I appointed thee.

He sent them to Crete to establish churches, but actually this would not be limited to Crete, but the whole world. He should set in order things that are wanting, the knowledge that the physical level also contains a spiritual significant as well. What men are to believe, following the fleshly teachings of denominations or theologies of what they have been taught being subject to the fleshly teaching. The flesh is there to point to the spiritual, but not everyone sees the spiritual, they follow the teachings of men.

6 If any be unreproveable (blameless), the husband of one wife, having faithful children, which are not slandered of riot, neither are disobedient.

Those that were blameless would be cast out of the church or martyred by those like Diatrophes who wouldn’t even let the apostles of John into the church. Christ is the husband and the church is the bride. He is not speaking just in literal terms here, but parabolic terms as well.

Ephesians 5:25-30
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as (analogy) Christ loved the Church, and gave himself for it,26 That he might sanctify it, and cleanse it by the washing of water through the word,27 That he might make it unto himself a glorious Church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing: but that it should be holy and without blame. 28 So ought men to love their wives, as their own bodies: he that loves his wife, loves himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh, but nourished and cherishes it, even as (analogy) the Lord doth the Church. 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 1 For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they twain shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great secret, but I speak concerning Christ, and concerning the Church. 33 Therefore everyone of you, do ye so: let everyone love his wife, even as himself, and let the wife see that she reverence her husband.

The church is the body of Christ, and he that loves his wife loves himself. The church leaders are to take care of the members of the church love them and care for them as Christ would. If the church leadership (husband) is faithful to the truth, they are going to take all the scripture and love their members and give this faithful teaching to the wife or church members in a faithful manner. The members (wife) if they receive that in the faith that bears the elect (children).

7 For a Bishop must be unreproveable (blameless), as God’s steward, not forward (self-willed), not angry, not given to wine, no striker (violent), not given to filthy lucre,

He can’t be guilty of subverting the mystery. They are stewards of God’s Word (someone who looks after another’s things), they look after the things of God. Wine in the physical sense is not prohibited, but what does he mean in the metaphysical sense Rev. 17:1&2 the nations drink the wine of the fornication of the great whore of Babylon. Spiritual fornication, friendship with the world is enmity with God (in James). So it basically means not given into the world, money, religion, or material things.

8 But harberous, one that loveth goodness, wise, righteous, holy, temperate,

Things are in contrast with the wicked church that is in bed with the world basically.

9 Holding fast that faithful word according to doctrine (truth), that he also may be able to exhort with wholesome doctrine, and convince them that say against it.

To those who believe they are sincere and pure they look upon this mystery as a revelation and something to embrace. They have done so they are able to convince those that contradict the truth or declare things falsely because there is nothing they can say, because it is not according to godliness.

10 [t]For there are many disobedient and vain talkers and deceivers of minds, chiefly they of the [u]Circumcision,

Vain talkers speak on the level of the flesh, they want to rule over people and force them to obey the commandments of man.

11 Whose mouths must be stopped, which subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.

They are false teachers and false prophets, in the church (whole houses/denominations), they indulge themselves in their own thinking, and are out for money. There are lots of prosperity preachers now days and they flaunt their money like it’s a gift from God. They are not out to be good stewards of God’s Word, but to gain financially and they will preach according to their will and wants and not God’s. They go where the numbers are they have massive congregations and they tickle the ears of those they preach to with lies and subtle deceit to gain things for themselves. They are self focused and not God focused, they will lead people away from God and those they teach will focus on things of this world and themselves.

12 [v]One of themselves, even one of their own Prophets said, The Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.13 This witness is true: wherefore convince them [w]sharply, that they may be sound in the faith.

He is quoting a prophet that is not after the Judeo Christian teaching. He agrees with them. The Cretans represent the whole world, the whole world is always lying, and they can’t be sound in the faith. This is why there are so many translations of the Bible and books excluded from the Bible. There are so many different denominations that claim they are Christian but they all fall under laws and rules of man. They fail to read the books provided for us and only read those they are told to read, by the scribes and Pharisee’s of old, the ones that Jesus got furious with. You then can say they trust man (flesh) and do not trust God (The Spirit) to lead them forward through the darkness with little light that they might be deceived as they advance forward.

14 And not taking heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men that turn away from the truth.

He speaks of the teachings of men and their commandments, they take you from the Christ level meaning to the Jesus level meaning, from the spiritual to the fleshly meaning of things. He is warning us again here of the deceit that is within this world. They seem as standard or true, they are taught as truth and commandments, but they are not. We have to be diligent when seeking after God.

15 [x]Unto the pure are all things pure, but unto them that are defiled, and unbelieving, is nothing pure, but even their [y]minds and consciences are defiled.

The pure are those that have a sincere respect for the Word and know that all things reflect a higher understanding than that of man’s teachings. They understand that Jesus showed virtue and discipline. Unbelief is the sin we are all born with, we have to get to know God again, since we were separated from Him when the fall of man happened at the beginning. To those that are unbelieving nothing is pure, because it can’t be pure because it’s tainted with unbelief, their mind and consciences is defiled, they are giving heed to commandments of men. These people have strayed from the truth, and will follow the ways of the flesh, the doctrines of demons, and religions of man, because they are unbelieving.

16 They profess that they know God, but by works they deny him, and are abominable and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate (depraved/shameless).

Their works are reprobate, because they don’t believe God, and they are not pure. They do not teach sound doctrine, they don’t have what it takes to be faithful stewards. They do go works expecting things in return and they do them to say oh look at me and the kindness I’ve done, they do not do it out of humble Godly love for others. Just as God said they have received their reward already.

Matthew 6 :2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. (Matthew 6:5,16)

Titus 2

1 But [a]speak thou the things which become wholesome doctrine,

Jewish fables and commandments of men are not sound doctrine. The scribes and the Pharisees do not teach sound doctrine. They taught lies and removed books to make better the way for themselves. This is shown in the council of the Council of Jamnia about 90 AD, which was a council that was dominated by Pharisees – a sect which Jesus Christ did not particularly care for. The Laodicea’s tried to remove the book of Revelations with the book of Enoch because the book spoke negatively towards them.

2 [b]That the elder men be watchful, grave, temperate, sound in the faith, in love, and in patience: 3 The elder women likewise, that they be in such behavior as becomes holiness, not false accusers, not subject to much wine, but teachers of honest things.

Men and women, as stated above, the husband represent church leadership and the women represent the members. The aged men were from the beginning, they were the men 2000 years old, at least to us today. We are looking at ancient church leaderships that were established by authentic leadership by Paul and other apostles. They established the church with authentic teaching, the Christ (spiritual) and the Jesus (fleshly) teaching, the two edged sword.

4 That they may instruct the young women to be sober minded, that they love their husbands, that they love their children,

They need to be sober (the women, the church), because they need to not be drinking of the wine (false religion) of the whore of Babylon/this world/this age. They should not over indulge in things. They should be sound in faith. This is a very serious matter. They should maintain the teaching of the Christ level meaning couched in the physical meaning in love and in patience.

5 That they be temperate, chaste, [c]keeping at home (church of God), good and subject unto their husbands (leadership), that the word of God be not evil spoken of.6 Exhort young men likewise, that they be sober minded.7 [d]In all things show thyself an example of good works with uncorrupt doctrine, with [e]gravity, integrity,8 And with the wholesome Word, which cannot be condemned, that he which withstands, may be ashamed, having nothing concerning you to speak evil of.

There were people that were the betrayers that accused people falsely, like Diotrephes, Hymenaeus, Nicolaitains, and Alexander. If the leadership is faithful to the mystery, the truth, the Word of God wouldn’t be blasphemed. The blasphemy of God’s word is to question His word and not believe call God a liar. These people are defiled and unbelieving. They need to return to the state of the early church, which Paul had set in order. He is saying to hold fast to the faithful word that you have been taught by Paul through Titus. They should have no evil thing to say about you believing in the things that Paul, Jude and Peter taught. If you have sound speech, they will have no evil thing to say over you.

9 [f]Let servants be subject to their masters, and please them in all [g]things, not answering again,

To be subject to religion, man’s teachings and commands, not God’s. You don’t want to answer your master and say we don’t agree with you, we are going to start another denomination. We don’t need to make things more confusing than it has to be, it’s already bad enough, and being in a state of rebellion is not good for the church.

10 Neither pickers (stealing), but that they show all good faithfulness, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.

They are sort of an adornment because when God saves them through Jesus Christ, then they adorn the Word of God.

11 [h]For that grace of God, that bringeth salvation unto all men, hath appeared,12 And teaches us, that we should deny ungodliness and [i]worldly lusts, and that we should live soberly and righteously, and godly in this present world,

It’s ungodly to call God a liar, it is following after worldly lust to chase after filthy lucre (money), and to be drunk (spiritually) with the wine of the fornication of the whore of Babylon. To live righteously, the contrast would be not embodying virtue and embodying God’s command.

13 [j]Looking for that blessed hope, and appearing of that glory of that mighty God, and of our Savior Jesus Christ.

The truth of who God is.

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purge us to be a [k]peculiar people unto himself, zealous of good works.

This is a future event, that he will redeem us from iniquity, whom He will purge or purify unto Himself a people at the end of time. Good works which are to follow.

15 These things speak, and exhort, and convince with all [l]authority. See that no man despise thee.

If you are letting someone despise you, you are letting down the truth; they can’t form a decent argument with the same level of meaning, against the truth. Don’t let them walk all over you, you are in a position of strength and they are a position of weakness. They really can’t say anything bad against you, because it’s the truth which you speak.

Titus 3

1 Put [a]them in remembrance that they be subject to the principalities and powers, and that they be obedient, and ready to every good work.

In Paul’s days the principalities were according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledging of the truth after Godliness.

2 That they speak evil of no man, that they be no fighters, but soft, showing all meekness unto all men.

Do not be argumentative, do not seek to cause division amongst the church, be gentle and show meekness to all people. People hate the church, because of the pointing fingers, and judging. All the condemning street preachers and prosperity preachers alike, churches like the westburo baptist, and God hates or you will burn in hell signs. None of that in and of itself sounds humble or meek to me.

3 [b] For we ourselves also were in times past unwise, disobedient, deceived, serving the lusts and divers pleasures, living in maliciousness and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

He is talking about the body of Christ here, we have all been this way, but we have to be the opposite. Paul was like this, he killed and cursed against the Christians of his day.

4 But when that bountifulness (kindness) and that love of God our Savior toward man appeared,

God shows kindness and love towards man, and that’s what we are called to do also.

5 Not by the works of [c]righteousness, which we had done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of the new birth, and the renewing of the [d]holy Ghost,

Do not boast of your righteousness, because it is not your own, it is Christ’s and by His mercy alone, we are saved. Again here, we see the heavenly is couched in the fleshly with the new birth, we are born spiritually where we are able to connect with God’s Holy Spirit.

6 Which he shed on us abundantly, through Jesus Christ our Savior,

Again, going from Jesus to the Christ, flesh to spiritual.

7 That we, being justified by his grace, should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8 [e] This is a true saying, and these things I will thou should affirm, that they which have believed God, might be careful to show forth [f]good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. 9 But stay foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and brawling about the Law: for they are unprofitable and vain.

The foolish questions are not profitable to men. These things don’t contain our Salvation. the revelation of Jesus, who He is, is where Hope lives. If you are an unbeliever, you cannot be as the elect are.

10 [g]Reject him that is an heretic, after once or twice admonition,

Those who ask foolish questions are heretics according to this. They are seeking after things that do not matter and do not focus on the first love Jesus Christ.

11 Knowing that he that is such, is perverted, and sins, being damned of his own self.

2 Peter 3 15And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation, even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given unto him, hath written unto you, 16as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things. Therein are some things hard to understand, which those who are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other Scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Misunderstanding the scriptures brings about ones destruction. You wrestle with Paul and the other apostles and go down to what men say instead of what is meant by God through His apostles. Which again, is arguing over or questioning things that don’t matter to divert from facing the truth.

12 [h]When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come to me unto Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter. 13 Bring Zenas the expounder of the Law, and Apollos on their journey diligently, that they lack nothing. 14 And let ours also learn to show forth good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

This is all coming together to meet with Paul to understand him to have him in our presence. The good works that are for necessary use learning to do that which leads to fruitfulness.

15 All that are with me, salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
