The more I read and learn, the more I see so much error in the way we are taught in churches today. What is termed Christianity today is loaded with, for one, Gnostic beliefs and not even biblical teachings. If you look at the stories in the Bible there are stories of love between two men, two women, men with many wives, men sleeping with their wives handmaids, men sleeping with concubines, and even their slaves were fair game. There is technically, what is thought in the creation story to give us a standard for marriage, which actually has no statute of marriage biblically speaking that is highly proclaimed by the conservatives of today. Adam was androgynous when God created him, which in turn means that God may be also, as well as, the angels. We know they were sexed by some means, because they came down and mated with human women. Of course this is spoken very little of in Genesis, as Genesis is just a summed up version of Jasher, and there is one small snip it of Enoch in Genesis. Both of these books should be read by any who would read the Bible, along with several other books, but are shunned by most all modern day Christians. These books are historical documents and the best way for us to determine what God’s character is like, along with the history of this world, is by reading these documents.

When you get to the books of Exodus and Deuteronomy, you will discover that there are some listings of the way the free men were supposed to treat the women, be it slaves or other property, seeing as they saw women as property in those days. The only problem is they are not consistent. Even the writings of Matthew, Mark, and Luke are inconsistent and contradictory. So all in all there is no explanation of marriage other than property and estate clauses for those that traded according to the bridal account for women when they married them. It’s basically a legal agreement or contract and not a spiritual one.

“(Matt. 12:48-50 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? And who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.) From Jesus’s perspective, the family is made up of fellow believers, not kin with formal ties outsiders might recognize.

(Matt. 3:9-10 And think not to say within yourselves, we have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth forth not good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. ) and therefore all people must “bear fruit worthy of repentance”

(Matt. 3:8 Bring therefore fruits meet for repentence🙂 He makes a similar point later on in His ministry: When a disciple promises to follow Jesus after first burying his father, Jesus responds, “Follow me, and let the dead bury the dead”

The bond that we have with our blood relatives, is not the bond that Jesus found to be important, it was the bond with those that followed Him alone, that He found to be of the utmost importance.

The “marriage laws” of those days. There are laws about Hebrew slaves, if they are bought or brought into slavery with a wife, she is to go with him and when the seven years is up for them, they will go free together, but if the slave marries while already enslaved by his master, his wife and children remain the masters property and when the seven years is up, the slave man goes free but his family is left behind to the master at that point the slave can choose to stay a slave for life to remain with his family. That doesn’t technically speak of marriage as we see it today, this would be considered ripping a family apart or committing to a life of slavery. Then again in Deuteronomy, the women are to be freed just as the men (Deut. 15:12). Nothing seems to be consistent with these different laws or rights and things have changed over time. My thoughts on this is that most of the laws were written by men, but Jesus lumped all the true laws of God up into two when He walked the earth. Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself.

Even though the Exodus and Deuteronomy laws were a set standard, it doesn’t mean they were followed, just like laws now days. These laws were many, and as I stated before they were not consistent. One instance that will show that these laws weren’t possibly always kept, like the happening between David and Bathsheba. Bathsheba became David’s wife only after he stole his neighbor’s wife and got her pregnant, yet David and Bathsheba were not accused by Nathan of violating the covenant commandments. It’s possible this is because the laws only applied to Israelites, and Uriah was a Hittite so technically they didn’t break any laws. In our eyes today this might seem like an injustice, but that is how thing were back then.

If you read the Song of Songs, the poetry is in and of itself erotic, and not in some form of eroticism within marriage. The Songs of Songs was written in a way that you have to learn how they used different terms in those days. They are not how we use them today, for example one of the phrases they used was to uncover a man’s feet, when in that time meant to sleep with him. They were descriptive by using words they had in their vocabulary to compare someone or something to what things they had seen around them. The story of Ruth tells of Naomi and Ruth’s love for one another. The same Hebrew word that is used in Genesis 2:24 to describe how Adam felt about Eve (and how spouses are supposed to feel toward each other) is used in Ruth 1:14 to describe how Ruth felt about Naomi.

dâbaq, daw-bak’; a primitive root; properly, to impinge, i.e. cling or adhere; figuratively, to catch by pursuit:—abide fast, cleave (fast together), follow close (hard after), be joined (together), keep (fast), overtake, pursue hard, stick, take.

Her feelings are celebrated, not condemned. Naomi took care of Ruth as well and they stayed together. The story of 1 and 2 Samuel tells of King David and his love for Johnathan that, At Jonathan’s funeral, David declares that “he loved Jonathan more than any woman.”

When David had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was bound to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. Saul took him that day and would not let him return to his father’s house. Then Jonathan made a covenant with David, because he loved him as his own soul. Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that he was wearing, and gave it to David, and his armor, and even his sword and his bow and his belt.” (1 Samuel 18:1-4)

This is just a couple of several Bible passages that describe and celebrate an intense love between these two men that went well beyond friendship. King David seen as a hero by most modern Christians, was technically a bisexual (which most Christians would see as an abomination, I do not), adulterous, murderer, and a thief.

Most of what you read of Paul’s writings are against women, free men being in control of women, children, and slaves. Basically, that it’s a man’s world and all should abide by anything that he says. He also said, it was better not to marry and to remain a virgin, when God told us to be fruitful and multiply to begin with, that makes his writings to be contradictory to what God ordained in the beginning. That’s not how things started out. He even put himself above all others in 1 Cor. 7:7 in his arrogance, he stated that he wished all others could be as himself. He recommended celibacy for the strong and marriage for the weak.

The Pastor Desire is extremely dangerous, especially for women and young men. Women must procreate if they are to be saved by God. Widows must remarry so as to avoid sexual temptation. Husbands should display their own sexual self-mastery by strictly mastering their subordinates. Male church leaders should marry only once. Virgin “widows” must marry- celibacy is impermissible for them. Those ineligible for married life cannot be leaders in the churches.

 

A good book to read is Unprotected Text, which is where I have taken a few quotes from and the chart above. It will bring more light to how things were around Paul’s time and even more insight to what marriage is and is not. So many things that we have been taught to be certain doctrine, and that the Bible itself is infallible are lies conjured up by men. Along with the translations changed and indoctrinated because of false religious beliefs and theology. Even the Bible calls out certain books, that we are told not to forget, but that the mass majority of Christians of today, refuse to read.

If you believe as I do that the scriptures are divinely inspired by God, God seems to be endorsing these two books. As we are told, in the mouth of two or three witnesses you can establish if a thing is true are not.

Jasher means (Hebrew) “upright”, true, just account

The name refers to the fact that the record, facts, and history are upright, correct, and thus trustworthy.

It is referenced in:

Joshua 10:13 So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself onb its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar.

2 Samuel 1:18 and he ordered that the people of Judah be taught this lament of the bow (it is written in the Book of Jashar):

2 Timothy 3:8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth.

Inferred here talking about Jannes and Jambres who opposed Moses. The only way Paul could have known this is through the book of Jasher.

Enoch was considered scripture and has been in and out of the Bible several times.

To bring this discussion into and around marriage and see how we got our current indoctrinated point of view on sex, homosexuality, adultery, idolatry, and a few other things, we are going to discuss St. Augustine. St. Augustine of Hippo (Aurelius Augustinus) was a philosopher from A.D. 354 – 430 and was an Algerian-Roman, his philosophy infused Christianity with Gnosticism and Neoplatonism. He is famous for being an inimitable Catholic theologian and for his agnostic contributions to Western philosophy. When Augustine was young he was one to go about in sexual relationships with men and women and he was not shamed to speak of it, but when he got older he reflected on his youth and began to teach that sex is wrong. Manicheans criticized the scriptures, mainly the Old Testament and held chastity and self-denial in honor.

Augustine was “a lively, sensual, hot-tempered person, entirely taken up with his worldly concerns, and unfriendly to Christianity until the close of his life, he became a catechumen (a Christian convert under instruction before baptism) shortly before Augustine reached his sixteenth year (369-370). To his mother Monnica (so the manuscripts write her name, not Monica; b. 331, d. 387) Augustine later believed that he owed what lie became. But though she was evidently an honorable, loving, self-sacrificing, and able woman, she was not always the ideal of a Christian mother that tradition has made her appear. Her religion in earlier life has traces of formality and worldliness about it; her ambition for her son seems at first to have had little moral earnestness and she regretted his Manicheanism more than she did his early sensuality. It seems to have been through Ambrose and Augustine that she attained the mature personal piety with which she left the world. Of Augustine as a boy his parents were intensely proud. He received his first education at Thagaste, learning, to read and write, as well as the rudiments of Greek and Latin literature, from teachers who followed the old traditional pagan methods. He seems to have had no systematic instruction in the Christian faith at this period, and though enrolled among the catechumens, apparently was near baptism only when an illness and his own boyish desire made it temporarily probable.” (You can learn more about St. Augustine here: http://www.iep.utm.edu/augustin/ )

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lasciviousness is not about sex or lust. Many people think that this means that they were overwhelmingly sexual or lustful or full of desire. This phrase is about doctrine that leads to a certain mentality. Lasciviousness really means, our own selfish desires, our own selfish way about things. Hebrews Strong’s says, unbridled lust (not necessarily sex), licentiousness, wantonness, outrageousness, shamelessness, and insolence. Being that he taught this theology in this Paradigm, he is the one who started the church towards anti-sex theology.

Romans 6:1-4 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?  God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?  Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Paul was dealing with Manikin Gnostic theology. The idea of the demiurge creating the physical realm and trapping the spirit light in these bodies. The Manikin Gnostics along with St Augustine believed that if you sinned the spirit light left your body. St. Augustine practiced and studied this for nine years before he became a Christian. You releasing the spirit light was seen as good, because you do your sin, you know it’s wrong, but you do it anyway because releasing the spirit light from your body is considered a righteous deed. This all ties into the Marcion Heresy that teaches that the god of the Old Testament is the demiurge. Basically, it was believed that this evil physical god (demiurge) trapped (Christ) the spirit light into your body and you had to let him out. Tertullian wrote against this belief. They went about this in two ways, you could commit evil acts and your spirit light is released, or you avoid doing evil period. These two ways of living were complete opposites based from the same theology.

St. Augustine’s own history reflects that he is a heretic. He had his own concubine that he was with but not married to yet he taught that all sex is sinful. He thought that God put up with people getting married for procreation. He felt guilty for being with the concubine and so he found a girl and married her but ended up divorcing her and went back to his concubine. He could have simply married his concubine and dealt with his natural sexual desires instead of fighting against what God naturally gave him as a desire. He even admitted having sexual relationships with men in his younger years, and possibly even as a Christian. So he taught about sex in general being bad, but all the while, he was doing the very things that he counted as sin. In doing so, he made something that is not a sin to be a sin in the eyes of others, and in turn causing the denial of such natural desires that were given by God to actually be sin because it is a rejection of a gift of God.

Something to note is that St. Augustine is considered number two in the church among Catholics and Protestants, that right there should tell you, that there is problem and a need to seek after God through guidance from the Holy Spirit and NOT the standardized church. I know some people fear that they are not smart enough to research and learn, but I’m no genius and have never claimed to be such. My drive to seek God was given by God, He gave me the ability to do the things I do, and I hated reading until I got a desire to know Him and to know I was not going to hell like I had been told so many times by others that follow the standard church. He gave me faith and has made that faith grow more and more over the years. It’s not a matter of smarts, but a matter of love for Elohim. The more you seek, the more the Spirit will reveal to you and you will find others that are likeminded to learn and grow with you, even if they are miles away. The world has many distractions like music and TV, things that are constant noise to drown out that still small voice. You have to have silent time with the Holy Spirit or you will never hear Her voice. I still enjoy these things, but I make sure to make a silent time to listen.

Now back to St. Augustine. St. Augustine’s theology was based off of Gnosticism and the things he taught about sex were lies as well as him being hypocritical while teaching them, right along with teaching things that weren’t biblical and stemmed from his past beliefs in Gnosticism, Neoplatonism, and pagan beliefs. St. Augustine was part of the Latin School of Theology and all the other schools of theology where shunned and shutdown which is why we do not hear about them, Rome was in charge and they forced the belief of the Latin School on all people (there is proof of this in the time of the reformation when Rome came against all Christians and killed so many of them).

It seemed that the concoction of Pagan, Gnostic, and Neoplatonism that Augustine carried with him was just melded into Christianity and has become a religion instead of the Spiritual based faith, the truth of our world and our Creator which is not religion, man created religion. So this is what Paul was referring to at that time, he was preaching against the Gnostic beliefs, they sinned intentionally because they thought that it released the spirit light from their body. This is why he wrote, “shall we continue in sin that grace may abound,” he was preaching against the Gnostics. These are the men that crept in unawares in Jude. This is why sex is seen as a bad thing now days in more ways than not, sex out of marriage is a huge deal today, sex between two women, or two men, it all stems from the Gnostic belief. We also get our theology on Hell, infant baptisms, the thought of women being evil, sexual desire being evil, erections being sinful, and many other things from St. Augustine which are also incorrect, he was one of the many that Jude 1:4 was warning us about. He believed that sin was transferred by seamen and if you were born, you would go to hell if you died a baby before being baptized. Seems like he missed everything that Christ was about.

The reason Augustine taught eternal torment, is because he believed the physical was evil and it had to be tortured according to Gnostic theology. He basically tried to interpret the Bible through Gnostic eye glasses so to speak. The teachings stuck from the fourth century because Rome was in power and Rome promoted him and enforced this doctrine on the world, but this has been the age of darkness, the keys to the scripture had been hidden for so long, and now God has allowed the keys to the scriptures, back into the hands of His children. The only place that Rome had no power over was Ethiopia, and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church is the only place that still has the book of Enoch in its canon. Rome did try to go and enforce the canon without Enoch on the Ethiopian Church, which did not work, as well as worshiping on Sunday, but they knew it was wrong, so they apparently did it for short time and then went back to worshiping on Saturday. Rome had wiped the book of Enoch out of every other church canon. The main promoter of the removal of the book of Enoch was St. Augustine, he thought the book was evil. His doctrine was completely satanic, his doctrine came from Manichean Gnosticism, which was preached against by John, Paul, and Jude, and remember Jude told us to remember the book of Enoch. Enoch was forgotten beyond the Ethiopian Church, and still today most Christians refuse to read the book of Enoch, even though it has now been release back into their possession.

1 Timothy 4:1-5 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Note that here marriage was already a strong belief in the church, but in reading all the Old Testament text, you rarely if ever see one man and one woman in a relationship. Yet, this is another warning, that in the later times, people would forbid to marry as the Catholics require their priests to do(1120 A.D.) and they saw sex as sinful but if they were married they could have sex. The main group that does this is the Western Catholic Church, Rome. When they did this in 1120 A.D, all the priest that were married had to have their marriages annulled, so they ripped apart families. The Latin school of theology taught that it was sinful to have sex, so priest couldn’t have sex or be married in order to be holy. They took so many things that God meant for good and made them appear to be evil. Again, from 1 Timothy 4:3 they took these things that God created for good and forbid them or abstain from them. Note that Jerome went right along with St. Augustine.

Just to point out, hyper Calvinism is the same as Manichean Gnosticism. They think they can sin all they want, they think all they have to do is have faith. Basically, they can sin all week and go to church on Sunday and get right with God. Another thing to point out within all this is that these men (Pharisees) that try to keep themselves from having any desire for sex or women and can’t do so, so they have an inward hate for women. They can’t be freed from women, because of the drive that God gave us, they even said things like the woman is the root of all evil and numerous other things. The woman and Adam ate of the tree.

And do you not know that you are (each) an Eve? The sentence of God on this sex of yours lives in this age: the guilt must, of necessity live too. You are the devil’s gateway: you are the unsealer of that (forbidden) tree: you are the first deserter of the divine law: you are she who persuaded him whom the devil was not valiant enough to attack. You destroyed so easily God’s image, man.     –Tertullian.

St. Augustine, just like Tertullian looks at woman and sex as evil, but those are lies that the devil swayed them to believe to make the beauty of sexuality that God gave us as a gift, to seem like something awful.

It’s true that many people in the Christian religion believe that lust is bad, and they use Matt. 5:27-28, but there is good and bad terms for lust. Check this out.

What is “lusting”? Most of you have this definition coming to mind “any sexual thought for the opposite sex”. And yes, I used to have the same definition, until, again, I actually studied scripture and Greek to decipher what the term actually meant.

The term means to “covet” or “desire with intent to steal” plain and simple. This Greek word (1937) has no “sexual” connotation to it, as the very same word is used as “desire” in other passages, such as “desire the Office of Bishop…desireth a good work” – 1 Timothy 3:1. Now, do you remember which of the Ten Commandments mentions this type of desire or coveting? Yes, it is the 10th commandment. So, Jesus was quoting the “thou shalt not covet .. thy neighbor’s wife”. Why haven’t you ever heard that before? Doesn’t that make a lot of sense, seeing God is the same, yesterday, today and forever? So, quite literally, Jesus first stated the 7th commandment, “Thou shalt not commit adultery”, then he explained the theology behind the 7th commandment with the 10th commandment, “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife“. He was showing how the people of the day were not looking at the intent behind the 7th commandment.

Here is further proof that Jesus was quoting the 10th of the 10 Commandments:

LXX- Greek Septuagint “γυναικα 1135 του 3588 πλησιον 4139 σου 4675 ουκ 3756 επιθυμησεις 1937 5692” – Exodus 20:17

 

Greek Textus Receptus “γυναικα 1135 προς 4314 το 3588 επιθυμησαι 1937 5658” – Matthew 5:28

Note the same key terms for “woman” and “lust” are present within both passages, showing Christ was paraphrasing the 10th Commandment. The IVP Bible Background Commentary explains:

“The Greek word here is the same as in the opening line of the tenth commandment in the Septuagint (the Greek version of the Old Testament): ‘You shall not desire your neighbor’s wife’ (Exodus 20:17)” – The IVP Bible Background Commentay: New Testament, Matthew 5:27-30

How do we know that the common viewpoint on Matthew 5:27-28 is irreparably in error? Well, if the Greek term “gunh” meant “any woman” and we take the Greek meaning of the term “lust” (which means any desire in general), we discover the passage to be saying literally, “whosoever looks at a woman and desires her has committed adultery in her heart”. Which means you literally cannot desire any woman in general and would have to conclude that all men have sinned being in any relationship with a woman, even if they had the most innocent of “desires”. So, revisiting Jesus’ statement, we see that woman is “wife”, lust is “covet” and adultery is “unlawful intercourse with another man’s wife”. –Godrules.net

So looking back at this passage that they cling to, to make sex and lust bad you can now see that it really means this:

Matthew 5:27-28 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery (unlawful intercourse w/ another man’s wife): But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh (sets mind upon) on a woman (wife) to lust (desire or covet) after her hath committed adultery (unlawful intercourse w/ another man’s wife) with her already in his heart.

Another thing to point out as well since we are talking about lust, is adultery. Here is another bit that will help you understand that a little better.

The “gist” of the term adultery, if you research the Greek and Hebrew it has to do with a “contractual agreement” between you and your wife (wives) or between you and God. This is why adultery can also refer to idolatry (same also with the term “fornication”), as idolatry is a form of cheating on God, by worshipping a false god. So, even though adultery’s original definition takes into consideration polygamy, in the case where you commit yourself only to one woman, you make a contractual agreement with her. So, this means, going out and cheating is equivalent to adultery, even though, technically, it does not fall directly under the definition of adultery. It is the Spirit of the Law, as you can see and the point is, you made a contract with your wife and you are to abide in the contract. –Godrules.net

God made us to have desire for another, be it man or woman that is part of being human.  So amidst all the religion that has come about because of man, this is one thing that has apparently had a lot of influence on it.  I’ll remind you religion is the beguilement of God’s people, none of it is for the good of human kind, it is varying and continuously causes division amongst people, self-mutilation, self-denial of things God meant for good, and there are many other aspects of it. Though there may be churches that support the homeless or do other things for a good cause, if they are religious and not spiritually focus, they are likely one that causes division, and one thing that shows the lack of Christ within, is a place that causes division among people.  Christ ate with sinners, which no one on this earth can say they are not a sinner, we all need our Creator to sustain us and even more so to save us from our own sins, and the fallen angels and the evil they have developed since they made the decision to war against God Himself.

Augustine argued as I stated above, that physical erections are a physical expression of the sin of lust. It’s a natural thing and I’m sure you have noticed that the priests and preachers that deny themselves to fulfill their natural desire end up committing even worse acts because their desire becomes so overwhelming for them, that they end up doing something that actually is bad. Augustine felt that he was a slave to his sexual impulses, because they are natural impulses and he kept denying himself, so he ended up going back and doing what he was teaching was wrong, because it was natural. His concubine even had his son, and he admitted to his sexual happenings throughout his life. He made sex and women his enemy. He felt that this is why the world was corrupt, which he got from Genesis, the statement about being against nature which was all because of the fallen angels coming down and mating with humans. When you read against nature in the story of Sodom, it is stated that way because they were trying to rape angels, it has nothing to do with the fact that they were men, because they were not men, they were angels. You can confirm this if you will read the book of Jasher chapters 18 and 19, and the Bible actually tells you that the book of Jasher is a good book in multiple places as I stated above. It explains the kind of people that were in Sodom. These people might have been bisexual or heterosexual, but they were not homosexuals because it states that they were married. Those people just committed evil acts towards one another and terrible things to those that entered the cities as foreigners. The book of Naphtali also talks about angels and humans. To find anything close to the truth, you have to venture outside of the Biblical canon of today, you have to look in the Greek and Hebrew, and in history in general. The biggest and most important thing is you have to make time to listen to the Spirit, She is wisdom and She will teach you the truth if you will allow Her to do so.

The base points of this study are that there are so many different things that have been construed because of religion.  We have to really dig and make sense of this in the view of God and not the view of man.  We have to see marriage for what it is, it is a legal contract, not one man and one woman.  Sex is not bad, sex outside of the marriage contract is not bad, stealing another person’s husband or wife is bad, and lust is not bad unless it is a lust for another person’s husband or wife with intent to steal.  Adultery is the breaking of the agreement with your wife by going outside the contract basically or even with God by worshiping false gods. God gave us so many things in this life that are meant for good and Lucifer and his followers want to destroy those gifts and us or to make it hard on us in any way they can, because they can’t hurt God physically. God loves His creation so much, that creation being us and the heavenly being as well, the fallen ones want to hurt us in place of seeking to hurt God.

I talked to a friend this past weekend about God and some of the ways we see His character and how difficult it is basically through the fog of what we are given and taught to really see who He is, but our need more than anything is to desire that relationship with our Creator and the Spirit of that Creator, so that we can learn more from the source instead of always just listening and following along like sheep lead astray by wolves. The fact is we do sin, but some of what religion has made out to be sin, is not sin until we follow along with it, because it is denial of God’s gifts, the parable of the talents teaches us this (Matt. 25:14-30). God says again and again in Revelation that we must be overcomers, and we really need to see spiritually as well as physically what He meant by that, we have to overcome the lies of this world, and seek after the truth, God’s truth and not man’s false truth.

So to sum this up, you see that they made women and lust out to be evil, and sex to be bad and of the devil basically. They forced out all the schools of theology but the Latin school of theology. Even after the protestant reformation, they still carried on Augustine’s theology. Augustine is the central reason we have eternal torment in hell, that sex before or outside of marriage is bad, and that any form of desire is bad.  A few of the ways you can learn all this and find the proof of it is by taking an old Strong’s Concordance and a new one and you will see many of the terms have changed meanings (An example would a word like fornication, it meant idolatry and adultery, it did not mean sex before marriage, and orgies meant sacred rites worship (Idolatry) where today it would mean a sex party.), you can look back in the Greek and Hebrew and find many things skewed, and just taking a look at the history of the times and seeing what was going on around these people when they wrote these books will help you see the light in the matter.  Note that the Hebrew Masoretic text is not as accurate as the Greek, it does not match up with the Dead Sea Scrolls, but the Greek does, and the Hebrew Masoretic text is what our Bibles today are based off of. If you have read all the way to this point, something in you is telling you to dig and seek God through the Holy Spirit. So be an overcomer and overcome the lies of religion.

One other thing that I want to reiterate that I’ve covered in my other blogs is Romans 1.

Romans 1:22-25 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

People assume that it is automatically talking about homosexuals here, but we don’t all worship falsely, there are many of us that worship God, we love God. What this is talking about is someone who worships creation and does unclean acts at the same time, so they are basically committing an idolatrous act right along with an adulterous act. This kind of goes back to Genesis where the whole earth is corrupt and then also the book of Enoch where the fallen angels came down, and mated with animals as well as humans.

Romans 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

These people are using sex to worship fallen angels (false gods), it’s idolatry, that is why it is stated that they are working that which is unseemly, this was done in Leviticus 18:21-22 as well, they were having sex in worship to Moloch. The men and women stated in these verses are temple prostitutes or the people in general having sex be it heterosexual sex or homosexual sex, to a false god. So if one human being has sex with another human being, it is not against nature, but if a human has sex with an animal or angel that is against nature. Again, you can read in the books of Enoch, Jasher, and Naphtali about things being against nature. That’s why God said in Genesis 1:24-25 about each beast that he created being with its own kind and God saw that as good. It’s not bad when we are with our own kind, what is seen as bad by God is when we mix with other kinds that are not our own. People try to make it seem liken gays are bad, because of their point of view they have been taught by the corrupt translations that gay is sinful in their eyes just like sex before marriage, they don’t even try to see what is really stated here. If we look at the animals of the world today, you will find many of them that will have sex between two females or two males, but they will not go outside their kind.

Infiltration of Christianity

[This is a short summary of some of the things I’ve learned as I’ve been researching.  I will be adding more to my blog as time permits.]

Christianity today has had Gnosticism and sol invictus aka Sun god worship melded into it. In the same way you would mix metals, these things have crept into Christianity. It has given it the shine of the truth with lies weaved in and made it weak. If we are weak because we have beendeceived, the devil can utilize us more and more. We are warned of this throughout scripture because Jesus and all the Apostles point out the Pharisees and the scribes as being evil like their father the devil. People never have paid attention to this until now. They have just always followed the earthly leader who we were warned about and listen to what they were told to do.

I’m very grateful to God (now) for making me gay for so many reasons, but the most powerful reason is because I had to fight so hard just to be me, I have in turn fought so hard to find Him and the truth.

If you don’t know anything about Gnosticism or sol invictus are now is the time to dig in and learn about it so you can see how it has affected Christianity. This all happened in the 4th century when they also removed the book of Enoch, which is a vital key to the rest of the scriptures. With that book missing, we see God as a genocidal maniac. Genesis refers to Enoch in one verses pretty much about the angels coming down and mating with humans, but it tells of nothing else as if they just disappear which we all know is not true. We are told of giants in the Bible but nothing is elaborated on as to why they were giants, unless you read the Book of Enoch. That’s a huge deal. HUGE.

Being that the book of Enoch is removed, people are taught that the flood was God killing people because they were bad instead of what actually happened and God destroyed the Nephilim, God saved humanity in the flood. Noah was perfect in his day as the Bible says, this does not mean perfect like Jesus, because we all know no one is perfect like Jesus, but perfect as in his DNA was perfect. Then you look at all the cities that God condemned, and they were of the same manor, God was trying to protect humans from the Nephilim. (Nephilim, the children of fallen angels and humans.) So we have been given a completely backwards view of God in the Old Testament because of the removal of the Book of Enoch.

St. Augustine with his Gnostic beliefs fused Hell in as eternal torment and that it was basically only one place, when throughout the Bible we are told there are levels to what the Bible references as Hell, some translations even leave those out when they are speaking of the different places, and they are very different places with different purposes. Hell is not eternal torment, I’ve shown this to be incorrect as well in some of my research.

Sexuality goes through a Gnostic view which is where we get that anything to do with sex is deemed bad. Sex before marriage, homosexuality, and things of that nature. Gnostics saw sex as a bad thing when God gave us that as a gift. In no way am I trying to say it’s good to just go out and sleep with everyone, we are to have self-control and that is in the Bible too. Again, when you look in the Bible, many men had multiple wives or even had children with their wives hand maids or concubines. So that is disproved right there. I’ve also disproved homosexuality as being sinful in my research. All this is theology.

Sol invictus is very visual in a lot of Christian paintings and statues, because there are suns that appear behind the beings portrayed in these images. Which in turn is something else we are not supposed to have, graven images that are worshiped or prayed too. Those are all over the world and people bow and pray to them all the time. This is idolatry.

This is just a summary of what is going on within Christianity today. There is so much more to it than just this. A few other things I have researched are the false trinity that the devil has created through Christianity which was pulled from the false worship before the tower of Babel where God separated the language of men. They all worshiped the same false gods at that point, but when the languages became different, so did the gods.

Revelation 15 – 16

The Seven Plagues 
The heavenly singers (Rev 15:1-8) 

15And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

The sea has been calmed aka standing on a sea of glass; this goes back to when Jesus calms the storm in Mark 4:35-41. The sea was the age of Christianity and of God’s people; it runs parallel in the gospel of Mark where he stills the winds and the waves as he calms the storm. Them being in the boat with Jesus, they are the church and they are alarmed because the false doctrines or teachings are trying to get in the boat/church, as well as the false teachers and Jesus shows them what will be done in time, at He calms the winds (false doctrine) and waves (the false prophets/infiltrators of the church). Jesus was not the only one who could do this, they could have done this as well, remember Peter walked out on the water and when the wind and the waves came towards him, he started to sink when he took his eyes off the logos. So he became subject to them, he was afraid of the winds and waves.

So the sea of glass has been calmed and it is mingled with fire (this is at the end of the church age), so the judgment would be the fire. Which in the last chapter we saw that He was judging the false prophets, false religion, the institution, the beast, his image, and all those mark with his name. Those who got victory over the beast are those who are in Christ. The 144,000 followed the Lamb wherever He went and they didn’t worship the beast, so we had become that later reign, we have done as they did (if you are of Christ). We have overcome the institution, the false canon, false teachings, false theology, false doctrine, and false religion. We have also, overcome the number of his name and have not received those false teachings in our minds or done his deeds with our hands.   

This is a time queue, as we saw in the last sections, the beast had the two horns which represents the two thousand years and how the two thousand years was two thirds or .666 of the three thousand years. So now we have overcome the age and we stand on a sea of glass with God’s true people that are without the winds of false doctrine and the waves of the sea or the infiltrators of the church.  Now that all those false things are gone, we now have the harps of God, which in turn means that His Spirit flows through you and you are an extension of Him, He is the vine you are the branch.  

3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

The song of Moses basically says that those who have been corrupted have corrupted themselves, God did not corrupt them.  They come out of the city that is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt which is Jerusalem. They are actually escaping Jerusalem where our Lord was crucified, so this is the false Jerusalem, i.e. the great whore or Jezebel which is false Christianity, which is false religion which is Babylon.   

All of these people singing is like they are in AGREEMENT; they are harmonizing with each other. God has proven Himself as the King of the saints. Once everyone comes to understand His judgments, everyone will see with the physical eyes as well as spiritual eyes. Even those who pierced Him, so even if you are wicked you will see. This refers also to Philippians 2:10 and Romans 14:11, that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is God.  All shall fear THEE MEANING everyone will see and realize His power and how he has does all things to this point and why.

5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

THE TEMPLE OF THE TABERNACLE OF THE TESTIMONY IS THE ARK OF THE COVENANT, WHICH CONTAINS THREE ITEMS. THE TABLES OF THE LAW WHICH REPRESENT THE OLD TESTAMENT ARE ONE ITEM. THE SECOND IS AARON’S (WHO WAS MOSES’ BROTHER) ROD, WHO WAS ALSO THE LEVITICAL HIGH PRIEST AND JESUS IS OUR HIGH PRIEST AND HIS SACRIFICE IS ONCE FOR ALL, THIS ROD IS THE CANON IS TESTED OVER NIGHT AND BEARS FRUIT THE NEXT DAY, AND THIS IS SYMBOLIC OF THE NEW TESTAMENT. THE THIRD IS THE HIDDEN MANNA THAT IS IN A GOLDEN JAR, AND THE GOLD HAS TO DO WITH TRIALS BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN TRIED BY THE FIRE OF THIS AGE AND THE SCRIPTURES OR THIRD TESTAMENT THAT WAS HIDDEN and IS NOW OPEN TO US. THIS IS HOW WE COME TO SEE THE THREE TESTAMENTS.

6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

THIS IS THE TIME OF COMPLETION AND PURIFICATION, THIS MEANS THE TRIAL IS OVER AND IT’S THE NEW MILLENNIUM. THEIR BREASTS ARE GIRDED WITH GOLD, BECAUSE THEY HAVE HEARTS OF GOLD, just like THE ROBES THAT THE SAINTS WARE ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE SAINTS.

FOUR BEAST REFERENCES ( REV 4:6, 8; 5:6,8, 14; 6:1, 6; 7:11; 14:3; 15:7; 19:4) THESE BEASTS HAVE TO DO WITH THE AGE, BECAUSE THEY SPEAK OF HIM AS THE ONE WHO IS AND WAS AND IS TO COME.

THOSE THAT HAVE GIVEN THEIR LIVES OVER TO GOD ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD. THE SEVEN PLAGUES OF THE SEVEN ANGELS CULMINATE IN THE MILLENNIUM, SO IT’S LIKE SAYING THAT NO MAN WILL BE ABLE TO ENTER INTO THE TEMPLE UNTIL THE MILLENNIUM. THEY ARE CONCEALED BY THE SMOKE OF THE GLORY OF GOD AND HIS POWER. [IN THE BIBLE IT TALKS ABOUT THE BOTTOMLESS PIT AND THE SMOKE THAT AROSE FROM THIS PIT which HAD TO DO WITH CLOUDING YOUR VISION OR YOUR ABILITY TO SEE THINGS TRULY. THE PIT IS A HOLE IN THE EARTH, AND THE SMOKE THAT ARISES OUT OF THE PIT IS THE CONFUSION that THERE IS FROM SEEING THINGS FROM AN EARTHLY LEVEL MEANING.] IN THIS CASE THE SMOKE COMES FROM GOD AND HIS GLORY WHICH IS HIDDEN FROM US BECAUSE IT IS TOO GLORIOUS FOR US TO COMPREHEND. HIS POWER IS HIDDEN BECAUSE IT IS TOO MUCH FOR US TO COMPREHEND, WHICH IS WHY WE ARE NOT ABLE TO ENTER INTO HIS TEMPLE OR HIS REST until all things are completed. WE ARE NOT GLORIOUS AS GOD IS AND SO UNTIL HIS GLORY IS REVEALED, OR THE SEVEN LAST PLAGUES ARE FULFILLED AND WE REACH THE MILLENNIUM WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER INTO HIS TEMPLE.

 IN THE EPISTLE OF BARNABAS, CHAPTER 15 IT SAYS: FURTHER, ALSO, IT IS WRITTEN CONCERNING THE SABBATH IN THE DECALOGUE WHICH [THE LORD] SPOKE, FACE TO FACE, TO MOSES ON MOUNT SINAI, “AND SANCTIFY YE THE SABBATH OF THE LORD WITH CLEAN HANDS AND A PURE HEART.” AND HE SAYS IN ANOTHER PLACE, “IF MY SONS KEEP THE SABBATH, THEN WILL I CAUSE MY MERCY TO REST UPON THEM.” THE SABBATH IS MENTIONED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE CREATION [THUS]: “AND GOD MADE IN SIX DAYS THE WORKS OF HIS HANDS, AND MADE AN END ON THE SEVENTH DAY, AND RESTED ON IT, AND SANCTIFIED IT.” ATTEND, MY CHILDREN, TO THE MEANING OF THIS EXPRESSION, “HE FINISHED IN SIX DAYS.” THIS IMPLIETH THAT THE LORD WILL FINISH ALL THINGS IN SIX THOUSAND YEARS, FOR A DAY IS WITH HIM A THOUSAND YEARS. AND HE HIMSELF TESTIFIETH, SAYING, “BEHOLD, TO-DAY WILL BE AS A THOUSAND YEARS.” THEREFORE, MY CHILDREN, IN SIX DAYS, THAT IS, IN SIX THOUSAND YEARS, ALL THINGS WILL BE FINISHED.

THROUGH THIS WHOle STUDY, WE HAVE GONE WITH AS it IS STATED in many books including the Bible, THE 6000 YEARS OF MAN AND THE 1000 YEAR REST OF GOD. THIS WAS A VERY EARLY BELIEF IN CHRISTIANITY, IT WAS FOUND IN THE CODEX SINAITICUS WHICH IS ONE OF THE MORE ANCIENT MANUSCRIPTS WE HAVE. IT WAS CONSIDERED HOLY WRITTEN AND WAS ONE OF THE HARDER ONES TO GET RID OF, FOR THE SCRIBES AND PHARISEES. THE REASON IT IS IMPORTANT FOR US TO CONSUME THIS BOOK NOW, IS BECAUSE YOU HAVE OVERCOME THE BEAST AND HIS MARK, SO YOU GET TO SEE THE HIDDEN MANNA OR SCRIPTURES.

“AND HE RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY.” THIS MEANETH: WHEN HIS SON, COMING [AGAIN], SHALL DESTROY THE TIME OF THE WICKED MAN, AND JUDGE THE UNGODLY, AND CHANGE THE-SUN, AND THE MOON, AND THE STARS, THEN SHALL HE TRULY REST ON THE SEVENTH DAY. MOREOVER, HE SAYS, “THOU SHALT SANCTIFY IT WITH PURE HANDS AND A PURE HEART.” IF, THEREFORE, ANY ONE CAN NOW SANCTIFY THE DAY WHICH GOD HATH SANCTIFIED, EXCEPT HE IS PURE IN HEART IN ALL THINGS, WE ARE DECEIVED. BEHOLD, THEREFORE: CERTAINLY THEN ONE PROPERLY RESTING SANCTIFIES IT, WHEN WE OURSELVES, HAVING RECEIVED THE PROMISE, WICKEDNESS NO LONGER EXISTING, AND ALL THINGS HAVING BEEN MADE NEW BY THE LORD, SHALL BE ABLE TO WORK RIGHTEOUSNESS. BY PUTTING PROPHECIES IN THE FORM OF COMMANDMENTS, THEY CAN MINISTER TO PEOPLE IN TERMS OF THEIR EARTHLY NEEDS WHILE THEY ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DARK AGE, UNTIL THE HEAVENLY MEANING IS FULFILLED IN THEM.

FURTHER, HE SAYS TO THEM, “YOUR NEW MOONS AND YOUR SABBATH I CANNOT ENDURE.” YE PERCEIVE HOW HE SPEAKS: YOUR PRESENT SABBATHS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE TO ME, BUT THAT IS WHICH I HAVE MADE, [NAMELY THIS, ] WHEN, GIVING REST TO ALL THINGS, I SHALL MAKE A BEGINNING OF THE EIGHTH DAY, THAT IS, A BEGINNING OF ANOTHER WORLD. WHEREFORE, ALSO, WE KEEP THE EIGHTH DAY WITH JOYFULNESS, THE DAY ALSO ON WHICH JESUS ROSE AGAIN FROM THE DEAD. AND WHEN HE HAD MANIFESTED HIMSELF, HE ASCENDED INTO THE HEAVENS.

HE GOES SO FAR AS TO SPEAK OF THE AGE BEYOND THE MILLENNIUM. THE SABBATHS THAT THE PEOPLE KEEP, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT CLEAN OF HEART ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE TO HIM BECAUSE THEY DO NOT REPRESENT THE HEAVENLY SABBATHS OR ETERNAL REALM, BECAUSE HE HAS IN STORE FOR US ONE THAT WILL BE BETTER FOR US.

EPISTLE OF BARNABAS 16 MOREOVER, I WILL ALSO TELL YOU CONCERNING THE TEMPLE, HOW THE WRETCHED [JEWS], WANDERING IN ERROR, TRUSTED NOT IN GOD HIMSELF, BUT IN THE TEMPLE, AS BEING THE HOUSE OF GOD. FOR ALMOST AFTER THE MANNER OF THE GENTILES THEY WORSHIPPED HIM IN THE TEMPLE. BUT LEARN HOW THE LORD SPEAKS, WHEN ABOLISHING IT: “WHO HATH MEASURED OUT HEAVEN WITH A SPAN, AND THE EARTH WITH HIS PALM? HAVE NOT I? “”THUS SAITH THE LORD, HEAVEN IS MY THRONE, AND THE EARTH MY FOOTSTOOL: WHAT KIND OF HOUSE WILL YE BUILD TO ME, OR WHAT IS THE PLACE OF MY REST? “YE PERCEIVE THAT THEIR HOPE IS VAIN.

HE IS TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE EARTHLY MEANING AND NOT THE HEAVENLY. Because they are FOCUSED ON THE LOWER THINGS, HE IS SAYING THEIR HOPE IS VAIN. THE HEAVENLY AND THE EARTHLY MEANINGS WORK TOGETHER IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH GOD’S PURPOSES which is why heaven is His throne and the earth His footstool. LIKE WINDS BEING DOCTRINES, THE CONCEPT OF WINDS CARRIES WITH IT THE CONCEPT OF DOCTRINES, AND PEOPLE WHO ONLY HAVE AN EARTHLY UNDERSTANDING, ONLY SEE WINDS, THEY DON’T SEE BEYOND THAT. PEOPLE THINK OF THE EARTHLY SABBATH AS PARAMOUNT AND AS THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS, NOT AS SOMETHING THAT SYMBOLIZES WHAT IS TO COME. THEY THINK OF THIS AS THE THING IN ITSELF, AND THIS TAKES THE HEAVENLY ASPECT OUT OF IT AND THEY TAKE IT TO THE EARTHLY MEANING ONLY. ONCE YOU MAKE AN IDOL OUT OF A CONCEPT, YOU ARE NOT RELATING TO THE TRUE MEANING OF IT. WHEN IT TALKS ABOUT BUILDING A TEMPLE THEY FOCUS ON THE EARTHLY TEMPLE (A LITERAL BUILDING) AND THEY MISS THAT THEY ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD. Because THEY see with their ONLY WITH THEIR earthly VISION OR PERSPECTIVE OF GOD’S WORD WHEN READING SCRIPTURES, THEY HAVE SEVERED THEIR SELVES FROM GOD/higher meaning/heavenly meaning, AND THEY ARE DOING IT ALL IN VAIN.

MOREOVER, HE AGAIN SAYS, “BEHOLD, THEY WHO HAVE CAST DOWN THIS TEMPLE, EVEN THEY SHALL BUILD IT UP AGAIN.” IT HAS SO HAPPENED. FOR THROUGH THEIR GOING TO WAR, IT WAS DESTROYED BY THEIR ENEMIES;

THIS DATES THE DOCUMENT TO A TIME AFTER THE ACTUAL TEMPLE BUILDING WAS DESTROYED. SO AROUND AD 70 WAS WHEN THIS PART OF THE DOCUMENT WAS WRITTEN. THE TEMPLE BEing DESTROYED AND THEm TRYING TO BUILDING IT UP AGAIN, IS ONLY UNDERSCORING THE FACT THAT THEY ARE STILL LOOKING AT IT WRONG. THEY ARE STILL IN THE EARTHLY UNDERSTANDING OF GOD’S WORD. JESUS SAID YOU ARE GOING TO TEAR DOWN THIS TEMPLE AND I WILL BUILD IT BACK UP IN THREE DAYS.

AND NOW: THEY, AS THE SERVANTS OF THEIR ENEMIES, SHALL REBUILD IT. AGAIN, IT WAS REVEALED THAT THE CITY AND THE TEMPLE AND THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL WERE TO BE GIVEN UP. FOR THE SCRIPTURE SAITH, “AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS IN THE LAST DAYS, THAT THE LORD WILL DELIVER UP THE SHEEP OF HIS PASTURE, AND THEIR SHEEP-FOLD AND TOWER, TO DESTRUCTION.” AND IT SO HAPPENED AS THE LORD HAD SPOKEN.

THIS IS A REFERENCE TO THE BOOK OF ENOCH and HE IS verifying THAT THE BOOK OF ENOCH IS SCRIPTURE. BARNABAS LIKE JUDE IS SAYING THAT ENOCH AND HIS TEACHINGS ARE PART OF GOD’S WORD AND WERE ACCEPTED IN THE CHURCH ERA. This was accepted by people who handed scripture down to us and not accepted by people who took over the church.

LET US INQUIRE, THEN, IF THERE STILL IS A TEMPLE OF GOD. THERE IS-WHERE HE HIMSELF DECLARED HE WOULD MAKE AND FINISH IT.

Note here that God is making the temple, not men. The temple is again within us.

FOR IT IS WRITTEN, “AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, WHEN THE WEEK IS COMPLETED, THE TEMPLE OF GOD SHALL BE BUILT IN GLORY IN THE NAME OF THE LORD.”

This is a reference from the Book of Enoch as well which is likely why this book was also removed from the Biblical accepted text. Pharasitic Judaism and the Sadducees did not accept those books that referenced Enoch.

I FIND, THEREFORE, THAT A TEMPLE DOES EXIST. LEARN, THEN, HOW IT SHALL BE BUILT IN THE NAME OF THE LORD. BEFORE WE BELIEVED IN GOD, THE HABITATION OF OUR HEART WAS CORRUPT AND WEAK, AS BEING INDEED LIKE A TEMPLE MADE WITH HANDS. FOR IT WAS FULL OF IDOLATRY, AND WAS A HABITATION OF DEMONS, THROUGH OUR DOING SUCH THINGS AS WERE OPPOSED TO [THE WILL OF] GOD. BUT IT SHALL BE BUILT, OBSERVE YE, IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, IN ORDER THAT THE TEMPLE OF THE LORD MAY BE BUILT IN GLORY. HOW? LEARN [AS FOLLOWS]. HAVING RECEIVED THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, AND PLACED OUR TRUST IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, WE HAVE BECOME NEW CREATURES, FORMED AGAIN FROM THE BEGINNING. WHEREFORE IN OUR HABITATION GOD TRULY DWELLS IN US.

WE are His temple, we are His house, and we are what He has built. It is only when we have our hearts renewed and we dwell on the heavenly level, can He then indwell in us. A lie is no part of the truth, and as long as we believe a lie, God cannot act through us in the ultimate sense. He can always act through wicked people like He did Pharaoh, but if He wants to use you to reveal Himself in the proper ways, you have to be changed. This happens on the spiritual Sabbath in the millennium. As stated above, no man can enter into the temple of God, until the appointed time. Those willing to be changed and seeking God will be changed.

HOW? HIS WORD OF FAITH; HIS CALLING OF PROMISE; THE WISDOM OF THE STATUTES; THE COMMANDS OF THE DOCTRINE; HE HIMSELF PROPHESYING IN US; HE HIMSELF DWELLING IN US; OPENING TO US WHO WERE ENSLAVED BY DEATH THE DOORS OF THE TEMPLE, THAT IS, THE MOUTH; AND BY GIVING US REPENTANCE INTRODUCED US INTO THE INCORRUPTIBLE TEMPLE. HE THEN, WHO WISHES TO BE SAVED, LOOKS NOT TO MAN, BUT TO HIM WHO DWELLETH IN HIM, AND SPEAKETH IN HIM, AMAZED AT NEVER HAVING EITHER HEARD HIM UTTER SUCH WORDS WITH HIS MOUTH, NOR HIMSELF HAVING EVER DESIRED TO HEAR THEM. THIS IS THE SPIRITUAL TEMPLE BUILT FOR THE LORD.

The bowls of God’s wrath (Rev 16: 1-21)
(1st) Bowl -A noisome and grievous sore (Rev 16 )

16And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. 2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshiped his image.

Again, the temple is us, so this is the true message of God coming from the people of God. The beast is the institution and the mark is its teachings and you participate in it when you perpetuate (ritualistic/religious doings) it. The sore is a disease of the flesh, which is lower meanings/earthly teachings. So this is all earthly thinking, seeing the temple as a building and not you, or the Sabbath as the earthly understanding of Sabbath and not the eternal. They read the scriptures that way, not recognizing the heavenly. Those which had the mark of the beast are those that worshiped his image, which is the teaching of the canon.   Those that basically say we are the ones that determine what is true, everything comes through us. It’s a form of idolatry, because it’s like saying I worship these men and the decisions that they have made along with the teaching they have come up with, that is what your faith is truly in.

(2nd) Bowl
-The sea became as the blood of a dead man (Rev 16:3)

3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

The sea is like we discussed before, God’s people, the true church. There were people in the church who had the higher level meaning, they were persecuted, cast out, killed, and started just doing what everyone else did. These people had the living understanding and they spiritually died. This is the dying of the Mystery of God, in the church so this is the second part of the falling away of the church/Christianity from the truth. There were people that could have made a difference and chose not to do so or they were killed. Jesus said if they persecuted me they will persecute you as well, so if you speak the heavenly understanding and teachings, get ready to be cast out or persecuted in some form. The truth becomes dead so the church becomes dead, and those that have the understanding begin to get phased out.

(3rd) Bowl
-Rivers and fountains of water became blood (Rev 16:4-7)

4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. 6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. 7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

The waters are God’s Word and rivers being God’s Word passed down through time, so this would be like, the 24 books and a few of the books handed down by the apostles. The fountains of water, came up out of nowhere, the engrafted word, or the Apocryphal books. These too became blood and died off.

To understand something on the heavenly level, you don’t need an image/canon to do it for you, or a man of the cloth/preacher to do it for you, you just need the Holy Spirit to let you see the truth. It’s hard to wipe away what you have always learned as truth and realize its false, but the beauty of God’s Word when you let the Holy Spirit guide you is so different because it’s the truth and, because you are depending wholly on God. like Adam and Eve and Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did they didn’t have a Bible or man of the cloth around to guide them nor did they need them. You don’t need a church to tell you what is and what isn’t valid, when you understand prophecy, you can look at a book and say this is prophecy. You can use the same keys in the book of Enoch, the Gospel of James, the Apocrypha, and the canonical Gospels.

The people of the age of antichrist, are not able to read it, so it is blood to them, basically the word taken from the heavenly meaning. The scriptures passed down through time, were misunderstood so they became blood.

There were people in the sea (church) that were still alive (knowing the truth of God’s Word), but they didn’t listen to them. They did this in the face of knowledge that they were then denying. Diotrephes knew who John was, but he was willing to turn away John from his own church. God is telling us that He is not bad, this happened because they rejected His truth, and they did it knowingly.

The waters became blood, so the saints and the prophets were killed. The blood they have now to drink is the earthly understanding and teachings, because they are worthy, as they have made the choice to knowingly turn against the truth.

The saints were under the alter so the voice that comes out of the alter is speaking for the saints. These people died and they knew why they died, they didn’t blame God, they blamed people.

(Matthew 23:34-35 – Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes; and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from blood of righteous Able unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the alter.)

They killed them, crucified them, and if they weren’t killed they were abused and chased because they were men that brought the truth to the people. They knew they were right and wanted to cover it up so that they could control things and teach what they wanted.

(2 Thessalonians 2 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The day of Christ is a single day (to God a thousand years) which is the millennium, and the coming of Christ is the heavenly understanding, so this millennium is at hand.

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth. 14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. 16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,17 Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.)

For this cause they shall be given a strong delusion that they shall believe a lie, this is justifying the use of that lower level meaning, as he has given them blood to drink. The lie is the earthly level meaning with the heavenly level meaning removed. This is so that all might be condemned to believe not the truth and had pleasure in unrighteousness, so they had some worldly reason for rejecting the truth. This could be done for power, money, or other selfish reasons. Jesus even spoke about the scribes and Pharisees and how they walked around in long robes and loved being called rabbi from the people, and they exalted themselves above the teachings of God, even God Himself.

We are bound to give thanks always…These people believe in the truth and understand the truth as those who wish to believe a lie and have pleasure in unrighteousness are, Going from the Jesus level understanding which the fleshly/earthly level, and to the Christ level understanding which is the Spiritual/heavenly level. Those who were given it by word were those in Jesus day, and those who would be getting it by Epistle might be getting it through prophecy. No matter if you are learning at the beginning of the age or the end of it. The hope is for that which is to come, not presently, they did this for us, so we would be able to rediscover the truth.       

(4th) Bowl
-Upon the sun to scorch men with fire (Rev 16:8-9)

8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

They repented not to give Him glory, this sounds like Thyatira. There is still a way and time to come back to the truth and they did not do it. The plagues that are in this book are for those who take away from or add to this book. They not loving the truth, they believed in the lower level meaning and loved a lie.

The sun scorched them, the sun (true light) is the word of God, and the moon (lesser light) would be the blood of the word. They see themselves as god’s agents/mediators on earth between God and man to carry out His will, and they speak of God and of His Holiness, but they are breathing out a false higher level meaning. This meaning is burdensome, damaging, and destructive to people. Which is why religion causes so much war and hate. (Everything makes so much more sense now doesn’t it?) So the Jesus they give you is like their sun, not the true sun, it’s not like the women that was clothed in the higher level meaning or the angel whose face was like the sun, but a scorching sun a punishing sun, a false heavenly interpretation.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Matthew 20:12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.

Matthew 23: 1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, 2Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: 3All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. 4For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 5But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues.

(5th) Bowl
-Darkness upon the seat of the beast; pain and sores (Rev 16:10-11) 

10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, 11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

The Pharisees sit in the seat of Moses, but they are not of Moses, because if they had believed in Moses, they would have believed in Christ. The one seated in the temple of God is the false prophet/son of lawlessness/antichrist, which is basically the beast that comes up out of the earth and reigns for the 2000 years. They know that their days are numbered and their judgment is coming and that they cannot prevail. They are well aware they are condemned; they are tortured because of this knowledge of being judged. They are blaspheming Him by replacing Him with the god of the earth. The pains and the sores are again because of the false teachings that bring hate and burdens on them.

Again, this is like the people who see the day of the Sabbath but only the day and not the spiritual Eternal aspect of it, the heavenly meaning is rejected here. The darkness is the earthly without the heavenly. This is why you see a lot in the music industry, with the illuminati, with Satanists, where they will cover one eye. They are refusing to see with the spiritual heavenly sight, and only seeing with the earthly meaning or sight. They have created a language to one another with signs and symbols like this. The sad part is they know they are covering up the truth, even to this day. Lucifer has BUILT his kingdom on the basis of suppressing the God of heaven, and supplanting and putting himself in the seat of the temple which are people’s hearts. Another example is The pyramid which a symbol that he (Satan) is at the top of and all others fall underneath him, which is why symbolism is so important to them. These things define their theology.

(6th)Bowl
-Upon the great river Euphrates (Rev 16:12-16)

12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Anytime north, south, east, or west is used it stands for:
North – has to do with God
South – has to do with the kingdom of darkness/Hades/the devil
East – the beginning of time/earlier
West – later in time

The earlier kingdoms (kings of the east) require that the Euphrates must be dried up, which is the water of God’s word. The water being dried up means the word gets destroyed. This happens so that the beast that was wounded can live again, the institution can recreate itself. This would the apocryphal and pseudepigraphal books or ancient books.

The dragon gave its power to the beast/false prophet that came up out of the earth that had the two horns and the appearance of the lamb/antichrist. The frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon is symbolic.

Acts of John Chapter 20 …And when he had set them in the midst of the market-place before all the people, in the sight of the apostle he made them drink the poison: and as soon as they had drunk it, they gave up the ghost. Then Aristodemus turned to John and said: Hearken to me and depart from thy teaching wherewith thou callest away the people from the worship of the gods; or take and drink this, that thou mayest show that thy God is almighty, if after thou hast drunk, thou canst remain whole. Then the blessed John, as they lay dead which had drunk the poison, like a fearless and brave man took the cup, and making the sign of the cross, spake thus: My God, and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whose word the heavens were established, unto whom all things are subject, whom all creation serveth, whom all power obeyeth, feareth, and trembleth, when we call on thee for succour: whose name the serpent hearing is still, the dragon fleeth, the viper is quiet, the toad (which is called a frog) is still and strengthless, the scorpion is quenched, the basilisk vanquished, and the phalangia (spider) doth no hurt -in a word, all venomous things, and the fiercest reptiles and noisome beasts, are pierced (or covered with darkness). [Ps.- Mellitus adds: and all roots hurtful to the health of men dry up.] Do thou, I say, quench the venom of this poison, put out the deadly workings thereof, and void it of the strength which it hath in it: and grant in thy sight unto all these whom thou hast created, eyes that they may see, and ears that they may hear and a heart that they may understand thy greatness.

The frog is poisonous, and of the three unclean spirits. There is an old saying that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. If you notice all the religions though they are different and even some are sort of the same (all Christian religions/denominations) are all against God, all the leaders of all these religions are trying to culminate into one religion. This is why God told me that religion is the beguilement of His people. This means that true Christians are about to be met with a worldwide singular religion. Satan is doing this to bring all of them together so that when the elect come at the end of time, they will attempt to do battle against them (to battle against the great day) to prevail, be he already knows he has been defeated.

So it’s like his sole purpose has to be simply to do this to harm mankind all he can, since he is unable to defeat or harm God. All the so-called conspiracies of today seem to be pointing right at satan.

15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. 16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Armageddon is Megiddo. This will likely be a physical and spiritual war.

(7th) Bowl
-Into the air (Rev 16:17-21)

17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

Satan is the prince of the power of the air. We are the temple, so this voice comes from the elect. Where it says from the throne, this is referring to God. It is ready and COMPLETE; everything is just waiting for the great voice of the elect to sound.

18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

There were voices or teachings or secret languages, the judgments are the thunders and the lightnings from heaven. There is a great earthquake that shakes all the traditions of humanity. So the earthly teachings get exposed and torn apart.

19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

The great city is Babylon and it was divided up into three parts. The three parts, I believe have to do with the three pillars, which is also the time, times, and half a time, and the current time is the pillar or age of John.

20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

The island is in the water, which has to do with secularism in the church, them fleeing of fear because they could no longer maintain their notion that there is no God.

The mountains are the kingdoms founded upon the earth and they represent something like a pyramid, those held less important or lower being towards the bottom and the higher up or more important or most powerful are all at the top. The mountains not being found or melting away like what is stated in Enoch, means that the earthly institution teachings no longer stand.

The great hail is God’s word in solid form, this would be painful, and it falls upon those that are to be judged. This would be the spiritual aspect of the battle of Armageddon. People will still fight against God even though they have no position to even fight against God and He has shown Himself to them.

Revelation 8-11

The Seventh Seal and the Golden Censer
(7th) Seventh Seal Broken (Rev 8:1-5)

1When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

Time is divided into time, times, and half a time. The time corresponds to what is now which is the two thousand years, the times is the four thousand years prior to the Christian age. The half a time or half an hour, would be half of two thousand years, which is one thousand years or the millennium. 2 Peter, Barnabas, and the Gospel of Bartholomew, all speak of the teaching of the 6000 years and the 7th millennium or the seven days of creation, which corresponds, to an age.

2And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.3And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

We read earlier in the last section of Rev that I posted, about the saints that were killed under the altar. At the time of the millennium is the time when He is going to act or be with those who killed the saints/prophets. The gold on the censer and the alter, has to do with purification, refined by fire, as Christ is a refining fire (Malachi 3:3; 1 Peter 1:7; Zechariah 13:9; Isaiah 48:10). Note that when God accepted sacrifices back in the days of Moses or Abraham, He took them by fire and it purified the people of their sins. The saints were sacrificed and their prayers are offered up on a golden altar, this has to do with their trial and their sufferings, the time is now right to bring their sacrifice before God because it is now holy and pure.

4And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. 5And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

Everything that is coming is because of the spilling of the blood of the saints, He is vindicating them throughout the age, but especially now. He is getting prepared to reveal what His judgment on the earth will be for killing the saints and the martyrs. He is also preparing for the earthly teachings to be destroyed (earthquakes) and the turth to be revealed to all.

The Seven Trumpets

(1st) Scourge of earth (Rev 8:6-7) 6And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. 7The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

We read about the four angels on the four corners of the earth, they held back the winds from harming the earth, until now, after the servants of God are sealed. This is after the sealing of the 144,000. There were 6000 years allotted to man. In the physical you work six days and rest on the seventh and you honor God. In the spiritual a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day, so the six days are the 6000 years, and the seventh day is God resting. There were 4000 years before the writing of this book and there are 2000 years, which is the Christian church age. Trees when spoken of parabolically are referred to many times as beings (Matt 7:18; Rev 22; Genesis 2:9) The third part of the trees that are burnt up, which means that the leadership is burnt up or harmed. The green grass represents life or people as green is the color of life. Water is God’s word, but when frozen, it turns into hail and can harm you. We will see that water can be turned into blood by the two witnesses. God’s word is twofold in its nature, the fleshly and spiritual or heavenly meaning. The blood is referring to the suffering and death of those that dwell upon the earthly meaning. This is God’s word in a destructive way, as it is torment to those who are unbelieving. Note that it was not made to be torment, but over time man had hated God and so He Word has become hard to swallow, suffering, excruciating, and scourging to them because they hate it so much. The leadership for the third of the age, which is the 2000 years, is not good. There are many in this age that have come only to lead astray or who have been lead astray and in turn are leading others astray as well.

(2nd) Scourge of sea (Rev 8:8-9) 8And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

The mountain is a kingdom, which would be a big kingdom. The sea are God’s people founded on God’s word. Infiltrators of the church are spoken of as waves. Mountains is referring to a high place built upon secularism or like Babylon which is the kingdom of the devil, it’s not near water so it’s not built on the word of God. The mountain being cast into the sea, means that which is earthly is being judged by God, and at the same time cast into God’s people. This is the 2000 years and this shows that satan will be bound up with God’s people for a third part of the age. The creatures in the sea are the people/Christians that did have life and holiness and where spiritual and they became unspiritual. The ships that were destroyed are God’s people moving along through the age. These would be churches or the body of Christ.

(3rd) Scourge of rivers (Rev 8:10-11) 10And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

A star is an angel, now the great star that fell from heaven, would be satan. It says he is burning as it were a lamp, which means the devil will try to teach you the word of God, but in his own way. This is a warning to us that satan has infiltrated the church and he wants to teach it his own way, he is promoting God’s word and he is poisoning (lies) it. Rivers are God’s word passed down through time, over the generations through the people of God. The fountains coming up are the other books not included in the “accepted canon” and satan is going to be cast into those as well. The lamp represents the word of God and the water represents the word of God, and then we have bitter. God’s word is a book, and the bitterness is the distortion of God’s word. The fleshy meaning has been taught and the heavenly meaning has be done away with.

(4th) Scourge of heavens (Rev 8:12) 12And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

Greater light the sun, and a lesser light the moon, Paul said that we are children of the light and not the night. The third part of the day does not shine, because those that taught the truth where killed. The third part of the night those evil people who knew what the good people were preaching and opposed them. They made the truth to be anathema and hide the truth as they slaughtered those teaching it. So the night was even darkened because those who opposed the children of the light no longer existed. There were others that followed along after the children of the night, but they didn’t even know what it was they had hidden already and thus continued to hide what was present in their time. Eventually neither those for the truth nor those against the truth, knew the mystery; they all had no idea what the mystery was anymore, because all the ones that held the things hidden and the truth were gone. Those who kill by the sword must die by the sword, so those that used the Word of God falsely would now be set to be killed with the sword (Word of God). The great whore of Babylon is paid back for killing the saints (drunk off the blood of the saints) with the false teaching and so God goes back and kills her with the sword how she destroyed the saints. This is how God vindicated the prayers of the saints that were slain.

Eagle announces three woes (Rev 8:13) 13And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

The midst is the most central point of heaven. Where this verse says angel, several of the translations actually use the word eagle. Remember the woman being taken away into the wilderness was by an eagle; also the fourth creature had the face of an eagle. There are three woes that are to sound after the mystery is defaced. Then by the loud voice, you hear it and understand it. The earthly inhabiters are those that have the fleshly or earthly teachings and are of the earth, these people refuse to hear the truth, and they seek after death basically.

Chapter 9 The bottomless pit (Rev 9:1-2) 1And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

Again, it talks about the star that fell from heaven, which would be satan or one of his angels. He is given the key to the bottomless pit, which means that everything that he is doing he has been given the right to do. The mystery is endless which is why the pit is bottomless. The key was that there was a heavenly meaning and an earthly meaning, like what Jesus says to Peter when He said whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Matt. 16:19, 18:18). So these things can be locked up and unlocked according to God’s will. Rev 3:8 Jesus says, “I have put before you an open door”, and you can try to get around it in a ton of ways, but that makes you nothing but a thief, because He has made a way and you have to go through the door. The devil is trying to get people to see the physical and not the spiritual, Jesus healed the spiritual blindness of man, not just the physical. If you can see the spiritual side, you know that Jesus has healed your blindness. What He did was amazing, it was miraculous, He healed the physical blindness of men, and He stilled the wind (doctrine) and the waves. Satan belittles what Jesus did on a spiritual level, when there is so much more on the spiritual, but satan will do anything he can to lead God’s people astray.

2And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

The sun darkened, the moon darkened, and the air darkened, as satan is the prince of the power of the air. The smoke has to do with confusion; it’s hard to see through as it was the smoke of a great furnace. This has to do with the judgment on people by confusing them. Again, he is given the key or the right to bring judgment upon the people.

(5th) 1st Woe, plague of locust
(Rev 9:3-12) 3And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

Locusts are creatures that devour or destroy in many numbers and leave things in devastation. So the consequence of going from the heavenly meanings to earthly meanings is satan expounding on earthly teachings as if they were heavenly teachings, to confuse people (put smoke in their eyes) causes devastation. He uses this to sabotage even the earthly meanings so it seems there is no heavenly meaning. This destroys all the good in the earthly meaning and all that is good in the scriptures. So he is concealing the truth and perverting it to mean something that it really doesn’t. The scorpions sting is in its tail, the tail is that which follows, and in a spiritual explanation, this would mean that their power follows after them. It stings and kills throughout time, in other words the false teachings continue through time. Continually, adding man made/devil made religions and religious beliefs which term themselves Christianity, but are yet still far from God.

4And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

They come to hurt those that do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. These people are fooled by the traditions that have been tossed before them as good when they are of satan and not of God. So the locusts come to hurt those without the seal, and any that bare the seal of God cannot be harmed. .

5And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

There are seven church phases, the seven letters to the churches. Two of the churches received no order to repent from God, the others did. The five churches that did, all had error pointed out to them and God was not happy with them. This is the torment that is lying in wait for them, unless they repent of their ways. If the sting or the false teaching and traditions do fool these people and they are sucked into these teachings and traditions, they will befall such judgments. We must overcome the false teachings, lies, and deceit of the devil, the tradition that are said to be Christian are merely traditions of man and the father of this world which is the devil.

6And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

These five months they will pursue the kingdom of death, they will seek to destroy the light or kingdom of light. The truth will still be there, but they run from it. Those who have lead people into captivity will also be lead into captivity. This happens because they are tormented by the truth and unwell to accept the truth according to God.

7And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. 8And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. 10And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. 11And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. 12One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

Again, the locust are swarming and devouring here. This is kind of the same manner as the horses we spoke of earlier. If they have the faces of men and hair of women, they could be leaders of the congregation, which are false teachers because faces of men imply an earthly understanding. Teeth being as lion’s teeth, which means they are used to devour. Breastplates would be something hard to penetrate. The wings could symbolize the age that is coming. The sound of the chariots of many horses running to battle could be the legions of demons going into battle. Again, stings in their tails would again be false teachings, and there is a spirit that resides over this earthly teaching, which is the spirit of the father of this world. Paul speaking of Hagar, saying she is considered the lower level of Jerusalem and the higher level of Jerusalem was Sarah. He was speaking of the people that were in the Jerusalem at that time being the lower. Jesus speaks about the Pharisees, (the very ones that the church started on and the very ones that removed books from the original text) saying they are of their father the devil.

(6th) 2nd woe, The killing horses (Rev 9:13-21)
13And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. 15And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

When the writer here says and, he doesn’t always mean in addition to, i.e.: Rev 1:6 it says hath made us kings and priests unto God and his father. God is his father, so he is not saying here that it is to God and some other guy, he is not using that form of speaking, he might have well said, who is his father. Moving after that level of logic, it could be saying here, that an hour is a day is a month is a year. It’s likely a phase of time or a queue. The four angels that come from the four corners of the earth, and Euphrates is associated with Eden which is East geographically, but also at the beginning of time. When it speaks of the four angels that are beneath the river Euphrates, it speaks as they have been bound there since the beginning, as referenced in Enoch and Genesis. They were cast beneath the river to be loosed when the time came. Those four angels bound beneath the Euphrates could be the representation of the 4000 years teachings that were before. They had done away with the wisdom of the men of God from before. Later on we will see that the beast has a wound by the sword which is God’s word, but it did not die, because God gave it the ability to live. It was then given power to overcome the saints. So like then, those fallen angels here that were buried are now released to slay the third part of men, for the final 2000 years.

16And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

Numbers can be symbolic and time can be symbolic. This is the same as what was stated in Rev 5:11 it states the number of the armies of the cavalry was twice ten thousand ten thousands or twice myriades myriadon in Greek. These were those who had come out before the thrown in chapter 5, were those who came out of the great tribulation. This number is then symbolic, as numbers and time can be symbolic.

17And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

Before, they had breastplates of iron, now they have breastplates of fire, which could be the fires of hell or God’s judgment. Jacinth is a representation of blood, and is a blood red stone. Brimstone is sulfur, which is a very foul smelling gas, said to smell of rotten eggs and skunk compound. In 2 Cor. 2:15&17, it says 15those that are saved are the fragrance/savour (higher level meaning) of Jesus Christ unto God, and the brimstone would be the opposite, the smell of death (the lower meaning). 17For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. It tells us right there that the word of God will be corrupt. The smoke and brimstone are indeed the foul smelling, corrupted, and confusing teachings of the bottomless pit. Again, there is smoke which is to confuse the people, fire to devour, and brimstone which is the foul smell of the teachings.

18By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. 19For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

Their mouths would be the people who brought the first false teachings, and the tails would be the people who brought the later false teachings. The people fell prey to these teachings and created the false church that others after them would also fall prey to them as well. In the Bible, the serpents are always used in reference to the devil and his demons, so you can be assured this is not a good thing and from whom these teaching come.

20And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Those who were not killed by the plagues or the teachings did become victims of it. Even if they weren’t taken in by the religion, and even if they weren’t worshiping idols, or devils exactly, but what their teaching is the teaching of devils. They still where following their own idols, church, and tradition, they didn’t repent of their deeds. They stood by knowing it was wrong and said nothing and did not change their ways according to what they knew to be truth. The murders, sorceries, fornication, and thefts could be referring to the horseman. They would be committing the spiritual as well as physical aspects of all these things unto the people of the earth. They murdered the prophets, the truth, and the witnesses, there sorceries were used to fool people or bewitch people, as well as their spiritual fornication, and the thefts, the springs of water burnt up, which is them stealing the Word of God. This is rampant in the world today, there are numerous Marian statues, Buda statues, statues of Isis and Horus, Zeus along with other greek gods, other religious statues, and even the Jesus statues are made of wood and stone as we are not to pray to any of them. If you approach something to pray at it you might as well be praying to it, because you are utilizing its symbolism by being in the presence of it as you pray. God meets us where we are and there is no need to go to a statue, building/church, priest, or any other so called “man of god.” As we pray we should not do so as the heathens do, praying to be seen in churches and street, and repeating words over and over. Matthew 6:7 & 6:5 (Here are a few different translations of this) “When you pray, do not use a lot of meaningless words, as the pagans do; “And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 6:5 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen.)

The little book (Rev 10:1-11)

10 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: 2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

Clouds here in this verse are the elect. His face as it were the sun, which would be like being face to face with Him, because the sun is in your face and it looks upon us and sees things in a bright way. His feet pillars of fire one is upon the sea and the other is upon the earth. The right (God’s power) foot is upon the sea which is founded upon God’s Word, and the left foot is on the earth or the earthly teachings. This is judgment of the church and the earth. The book is open which means it can be read, and it is little, which means that it could be lacking or there is more to it than what seems to be. If it were big it would be like having the complete collection of His Word.

3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. 4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

The seven thunders are teachings that are sealed until the time of the end. The thunders being uttered is the following of the lightning of God’s judgment. It will be spoken to us throughout history, but it will not be understood until the right time or end time. These things may not be written or explained in paper and ink.

5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, 6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

Hand to heaven meaning he swears by Him that lives forever, the foot on earth the things that therein are, and the sea which are God’s people the things which are therein. At the time when the heavenly things can be demonstrated to God’s people, and the time when the earthly people can also know heavenly things, it will be the end time. This would mean that you don’t want to believe in God, but you know and can understand the truth. Those in the earth and in the church cannot deny it; it has to happen at that point.

7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

It says days, because it’s premillennium it says He is beginning to sound. Before Christ comes, He is giving us a short time to come to Him, now the mystery is known to all it is given to us to accept the truth it is our choice even more so at that point as we are literally given the things that have been a mystery for so long.

8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.

The voice (language) in the spiritual sense, and he said take the little book the small bit of God’s Word. It’s pretty obvious with the different denominations that someone has to be lacking, but not one of them will speak up and acknowledge it’s them even if they know. You can demonstrate that Enoch is the seventh from Adam according to Jude, he and his book are referenced in Jude; the keys are missing because humanity allows them to be missing when they are actually accessible to all of us. He now has power the power over the church, the scholarly kingdom, and the worldly kingdom and He is forcing them to confront this book and why it seems to be lacking. It seems one day what I’ve learned and speak on so much, God will reveal to all. By His Grace (Christ) and Wisdom (Holy Spirit) do I know anything at all of His love and His mystery, because it is not my own, but His and I am give glimpses of the truth when He wills it to be so.

9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

John is the third pillar or the last generation of God’s people, that is to be held back until the end. The mystery that He is to reveal to us will not happen until His time, and apparently we are making way to that point in time, because He has begun revealing things to a small group of us that will hopefully one day be many. If you are able to show heavenly meanings, it is sweet as honey in your mouth, but you realize that we have been lead astray for 2000 years (or even since the dawn of time) and it is a bitter (the water (Word of God) become wormwood) message, with much wisdom comes much sorrow. It is so true, to look around and see so many people being deceived and knowing the truth it hard, I talk to them whenever possible but my just blow me off or tell me that we aren’t supposed to read those book or that’s now what their church believes or their preachers says, they are not looking to God for answers, they are looking to men of this world and manmade things of this world for the truth that only God holds. To understand the word of God is to understand that it was all in vain up to this point. That is, their teachings are vain, but they are not vain to God as He will take what is corrupt and make something good out of it. He makes beauty from ashes Isaiah 61:3.

10 And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. 11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

Think about it, if you take something and eat it, then you realize what it was and that it was foul or not what you thought it was, it would make you sick to your stomach. [I felt this way when God started revealing the truth to me and that what I had been taught growing up was full of lies unbeknownst even those who might have taught me.] If you are able to understand the mystery, it’s like the voice is now being heard, and we are now prophesying before many people, and nations, and tongues, and kings. The devils deception is great and so many are fallen under his wing unknowingly, it is our duty to God and to the lost and deceived to put the truth out there and it’s up to each one of them to hear the Word of God or reject it (free will).

11 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

The reed was given to John to measure and the rod is to do with the cannon. The temple of God is God’s people. The measure is those who are faithful to God. It’s not a little book, it’s the completeness of God’s people are the true measure.

2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

The holy city is like the Jerusalem which is above, which I spoke of earlier when speaking of Sarah and Hagar. Those who do not understand the mystery, are the gentiles, they will make the holy city the Jerusalem, which is below. The 40 is the 4000 years prior and is the times, and the 2 months are the 2000 years that are left which is the time, our time.

3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

1 +2 + ½ is 3 and a half.   This is speaking of the 7000 year age and their prophecy will be for the age. The sackcloth has to do with suffering or humiliation before God, because if you notice when God speaks of His church, they are clothed in white remnant not sackcloth.

These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

This says the god of the earth. The candlesticks are the churches, the two olive trees are as in Romans 11:4,17-19,24—25. These are the two true Churches the Jews and Christians or the two churches that God did not hold anything against in the letters to the seven churches which were Smyrna and Philadelphia. There is an exalted Israel and a degraded Israel. Most people say and I agree, that the two witnesses are Enoch and Elijah, Enoch taken in Genesis 5:24 and Jasher 4:1-2, and Elijah taken by a whirlwind (2 Kings 2). You can read more about Enoch and how great he was in accordance with God and man in Jasher from his birth beginning with the last two verses of Jasher 2 to the first two verses in Jasher 4.

5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

If you take the true mystery of God and you try to hurt it, you must be taken to the lower level and be judged. Like what I said with killing with the sword earlier. These false teachers, money grubbing pastors, and false religious leaders are all doing just this and will rightly be killed in the manner in which God has stated, by the Sword (Word of God).

6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

Heaven is either open or shut depending if you are open to it and if God chooses to give you a prophecy. If you do harm to the true church, then you are shut out of heaven.

The two witnesses killed (Rev 11:7-13)

7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

They are protected for a time, because God has a duty for them to help us at the end of time, to discover the mystery.

8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

The god of the earth here is of the Jerusalem below aka the devil; it’s all about religion and the church, but not God’s. It says when you read about the judgment of Sodom and Egypt, to get out of Sodom and get out of Egypt these are religion, all religion. God is not religion, He has never been. By the lies of the devil, people have been swayed to think that this is the right way of thinking, worship, and the truth, but it is all a deception delivered from the very mouth of the one that hates us all, the serpent/scorpion.

9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

This is a symbolic time of the age. With the scripture they supplanted and killed the apostles, the saints, and the prophets. They label them heretics, enemies of the cross, and used it to attain their wants. In other words, the letter kills but the Spirit gives life, so it’s like using the Word without the Spirit. It’s like the body of Christ, and the body of Israel being without the Spirit of God. We are supposed to prophecy to tongues and nations, it shall not be made known that they are under the earth; they shall be as they are out in the open.

10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

They will be glad to see the true Jews and true Christians gone. They tormented them that dwelt on earthly teachings because they didn’t want to hear the truth; they wanted only the earthly teachings and understanding. If I were to go up to a preacher now days and tell them these things, they will not listen or they will scorn me and hold their disbelief.

11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

Suddenly when the Spirit of God entered into them and made them able to move once again, they begin going about spreading life, which is death to the false Christians and Jews. Great fear fell upon them that saw the true Jews and Christians.

12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Those who saw them heard a great voice of heaven that called them the (two witnesses) up to heaven. The cloud is the great cloud of witnesses. They became those who dwelt in heaven they became exalted, and their enemies beheld them.

13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Great earthquake completely destroyed the earthly teachings. The dragon is the great whore which is also the great city. This is more stating that this is the men of the seven thousand years, its God’s people the good people of the seventh millennium that would not be shaken by the earthquake or false teachings of the earthly. (Romans 11:4-5) The remnant that God has reserved to himself, seven thousand men of those that have not bowed a knee to Baal (these are the good people). Those that were afraid but gave glory to the God of heaven were the good people and the ones that wouldn’t were slain. On the seventh day some were slain and some people though scared by it, give glory to heaven.

(7th) 3rd woe, God’s wrath and the Eternal Kingdom (Rev 11:14-19)

14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

Jesus said behold I come quickly, so this woe is the coming of Jesus. Right at the point where the earthly foundations (teachings) are destroyed and all His people are slain, He will come. We have the ability to speed His coming by pushing the issue at hand, and being obedient to reveal the truth to the world as we are told to do.

15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever.

There were great voices in heaven, which means everything is being revealed. The great heavenly voices say that the kingdoms of this world are becoming the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ, our Lord is the Christ.

16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

They are seated, which means their time has come, and they fall on their faces, because everything has lined up and is completed.

17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

The kingdoms have become God’s.

18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

The servants, prophets, and saints represent His temple or alter. He is extending His mercy to those that wouldn’t repent. God’s being very generous here. There are satan’s people that destroy the earth, which in part could be a demonic blood line aka the Nephilim which are the children of the fallen angels. They have made their way in to business, religion, finance, and many other important areas that have come to be meaningful and needed to this world. These Nephilim have been seeking to destroy humanity and the earth since the beginning of time. Which you can read about in Enoch and Genesis.

19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

He is setting up for a new judgment, so there is more to come, we have reached the end. The temple of God are His people, and we are now open to heaven. Those people who are under the alter and opened their prayers up to Him. We will now understand the meaning of the arch of His covenant. The items in the arch were the tablets of law, the rod of Aaron, and the hidden manna. If you overcome then you get to eat of the third covenant or the manna. The time of the spiritually dead has now arrived, and they are about to be judged. The time for the spiritually alive in Christ are about to be rewarded.

Homosexuality Is It A Sin?

Proverbs 18:13

“He that answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame unto him.”

Did you know?

* Of 32,000 verses in the Bible, only five directly mention homosexuality.
* The Qur’an only directly mentions homosexuality once.
* Leviticus, the book of the Bible which supposedly stipulates death for homosexuality, if you look at it closely, you will see it has to do with worship of false gods and idolatry.
* The Biblical Jesus does not condemn homosexuality.
* The destruction of the Biblical city of Sodom was due to their mistreatment of strangers, the poor, and each other in some instances.
* The Bible never condemns same sex marriage.
* The Biblical David and Jonathan had a formal same-sex union.
* ‘Traditional marriage’ in the Bible includes polygamy.
* No known sacred text forbids same sex marriage.
* Very few sacred texts even mention homosexuality.
* Hindu and other far eastern sacred texts do not condemn homosexuality.
* Homosexuality is not unnatural; it is practiced by hundreds of species of animals.

The Bible

There are about half a dozen direct references to what we today term homosexuality in the Tanach and NT, and a few others which are relevant but not direct. Two of the most negative passages are found in the book of Leviticus, alongside a mass of ancient Jewish food and incest taboos, purification rituals and medical protocols. In the New Testament, there are several instances in the Epistles where Paul belittles homosexuality. At no point in the Gospel does Jesus condemn homosexuality.

Another point to note is that there was no word for homosexuality, in the sense that we now use the term, in ancient Hebrew or Greek. The text of the Tanach and NT periphrasis these scriptures to try to describe what they are trying to get across to us.

Romans 1:26-27 states, 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

If you notice through this text, it is focused much on the topic of idolatry with much of it pointing towards temple harlotry, not homosexuality (idolatry and sex acts, not orientation). This is spiritual harlotry just as much as physical, as they are doing these things in worship to false gods. This is also the only place in scripture that could possibly state anything against two women. With that, we need to understand that there is more than just one action that is said to be against nature so we will go through some.

Things that could be termed against nature:

  • Idolatrous Sex which is referenced in a book called Testament of Naphtali which was written about 200 years before Paul’s writings. This book indicates that “against nature” means sexual idolatry or sex with angels (Genesis and Enoch). In the Testament of Naphtali 3:3-5, there is a connection between the Genesis 3 account of angels having sex with humans and the Sodom story of men trying to rape men and angels. This is most likely what Paul was referencing in the Romans 1 account men trying to have sex with men unto a false god. Perhaps these temple priests in Paul’s time were indeed representatives of the false god, making it into a change of nature’s order sex is to be between humans, not men or women and animals, not men or women and angels, and not men or women to false gods in any combination.
  • The common understanding of sexual identity in Paul’s time, this could also be referring to how women ought to be passive and men active, yet in the case of Rome’s idolatrous atmosphere, the temple prostitute women would sleep with many men which would put them as being “active” – against nature and the consecrated eunuch men used as temple prostitutes unto false gods like Molech were passive as many men would have anal sex with them against nature (physical and spiritual idolatry). So against nature would be referring to women and men exchanging their passive/active roles which very well was a rule or way of the past.
  • There is also, the heterosexuals that are forced by society to practice homosexual acts, often to desensitize, control or humble. Sometimes it is combined with the practice of the occult, witchcraft or idolatry as well. The Didache (First Christian Handbook) states regarding sexual sins: “You shall not commit adultery; you shall not commit pederasty (sex with boys).” – Didache (c. 80-140, E), 7.377 . In Hitler’s book, “The Pink Swastika, Lively exposes what secret homosexual activists don’t want you to know about Nazi Germany: that although the Nazis did persecute homosexuals, the homosexuals the Nazis persecuted were almost exclusively the effeminate members of the gay community in Germany, and that much of the mistreatment was administered by masculine homosexuals who despised effeminacy in all its forms.” – Truth about homosexuality and Nazi Party. Homosexuals were thrown in concentration camps, while those who were forced into homosexuality become male predators burning with lust and desiring to control and abuse men and boys. Occultism was heavy through the Nazi Party as well as Hitler’s Youth.
  • The conservative 21st Century view that refers to homosexuality does not however, fit with the early fathers that I have read. They thought it was anal and idolatrous sex, and as mentioned above, the Testament of Naphtali and other readings from this time, do not agree with 21st Century conservative ideals.

Conservative Christians seem to be misidentifying the root of the problem and minimizing spiritual sin along with elaborating on the physical aspects of it. The two main causes to this error in modern Christian thinking is two old heresies: Gnosticism and Marcionism. Gnostics teach that the physical is evil and spiritual is good, and Marcions reject Old Testament claiming it is a different god, while they accept the New Testament. We seem to be completely blind to spiritual harlotry today. For example, the word adultery is “unlawful intercourse with another man’s wife”. That is not it’s only meaning though, it is also “unlawful intercourse with a false god”, which is why God speaks in Revelation of the whore of Babylon, she is not a person, but a false religion that deceives God’s people. Religion in and of itself is the beguilement of God’s people, do you not remember the one time Jesus got furious in the Bible in John 2, it was at the Pharisees, the very men that were responsible for religious laws of men. They made rules around God’s commandments and deceived the people even then.

Idolatry and spiritual harlotry are one in the same, and they are rampant through the churches these days, from prosperity preachers, teachings of other false religions making it to heaven, making the focus us and not God, along with many other issues and heresies.

The King James Version

King James I, who commissioned the King James Version translation, was undoubtedly homosexual. It was whispered that “Elizabeth was King: Now James is Queen.”

James I was responsible for reaffirming the Buggery Act of 1533, which criminalized sodomy in the UK. However, James I had several well-documented homosexual relationships. Although he had eight children with his wife, Anne of Denmark, they eventually decided to live apart. In 1607 he met Robert Carr, then age 17, at a joust, and had an on-going relationship with him for nearly a decade, which ended in a messy breakup. In 1614, he started a relationship with George Villiers, a commoner, eventually making him Duke of Buckingham in 1623. In 1624, James wrote Villiers a letter in which he asked “whether you loved me now…better than at the time I shall never forget at Farham, where the bed’s head could not be found between the master and his dog.”

Tanach

In the beginning…

Some esoteric Jewish traditions hold that God is hermaphroditic in nature, and that Adam was originally an hermaphrodite. This is based on a reading of Genesis 1:27: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” This theme is developed with great detail in the Kabbalah; For instance see this passage from the Kabbalah Unveiled. Rabbi Samuel-bar-Nachman is quoted by Carpenter as saying “Adam, when God created him, was a man-woman (androgyne)”. Maimonides (ibid.) is quoted likewise: “Adam and Eve were created together, conjoined by their backs.” This is similar to the androgyne mentioned in Plato’s Symposium.

The Sin of Sodom

Now let’s talk about the story of the destruction of the city of Sodom, (Genesis 18:16-19:29; Jasher 18:11-19:53).

First lets point out Deut. 23:17-18 (link below to reference more on this verse) “There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.” Here the word whore meant “female prostitute”, and sodomite meant “male temple prostitute”. You can see here gadesh and kedeshah meanings:

Genesis 19

1 And in the evening there came two [a]Angels to Sodom: and Lot sat at the gate of Sodom, and Lot saw them, and rose up to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face to the ground.2 And he said, See my lords, I pray you turn in now into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early and go your ways. Who said, Nay, but we will abide in the street all night. 3 Then [b]he pressed upon them earnestly (Why do you think Lot bid them to not stay in the streets? He was trying to protect them from what is spoken of in Jasher they raped travelers, starved them, stole from them, and etc. every kind of cruelty you could imagine.), and they turned in to him, and came to his house, and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they [c]did eat.

[They raped their own women and swapped them off several times a year. The sin of Sodom was not homosexuality by any means. There were a great many things these people did against other people.]

Genesis 19:4-11 19:4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, [even] the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: 19:5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where [are] the men which came in to thee this night? Bring them out unto us, that we may know them. 19:6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, 19:7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. 19:8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as [is] good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. 19:9 And they said, Stand back. And they said [again], This one [fellow] came in to sojourn, and he has become a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, [even] Lot, and came near to break the door. 19:10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door. 19:11 And they smote the men that [were] at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

These men wanted to forcefully rape the visitors, of Sodom. It would be classified as gay sex, but homosexuals do not go around gang raping visitors. These verses as well as many others do no state that. They where trying to gang rape people (well technically angels which is an abomination). Lot offered them his daughters, because they were human at the very least, as well as in those times, the protection you were to have over the guests of your house was held to a high responsibility. Near Eastern hospitality, to this day, implies a responsibility to protect guests under one’s roof. The fact that Lot was ready to make a huge sacrifice by offering up his virgin daughters to the mob instead of his guests underlines this.

Jude 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication (They have changed the meanings of the words over the centuries the 17th century meaning of fornication or porneia in English meant idolatry and prostitution, it has been changed.), and going after strange flesh (Idolatry or going after another species of flesh. Sodom was completely ungodly they were cruel people and they tried to rape angels which is the reference to strange flesh non-human flesh (aka not gay)), are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

2 Peter 2 6 and having reduced [the] cities of Sodom and Gomorrha (S&G completely rebelled against God’s will. If someone came into those cities, they would beat them and laugh at them, rob them, chain them in the city square and watch them starve to death, and not to mention going after strange flesh (angels). They raped and did all these things to travelers, the poor, and even to some of their own people. In fact Lot’s daughter got killed by a Sodomite, because she felt compassion for a beggar that they chained up to allow him to starve and die because she fed him. (Jasher 18:11 – 19:53)) to ashes, condemned [them] with an overthrow, setting [them as] an example to those that should [afterwards] live an ungodly life;

Sodom is described as a ‘wicked’ place not a place where homosexual acts are done. In an often ignored part of the story, Lot’s daughters have incest with him by getting him intoxicated, (Gen 19:31), they were said to have done this, to repopulate the country; a similar motif is found in the story of Noah. As in other Biblical narratives, even the heroes end up committing horrendous sins, driven by circumstances. But many ignore the entire context of the story in the rush to justify their own bigotry (ignorance is not bliss).

The sin of the city of Sodom was originally considered to be the violation of the rights of Lot’s guests. Defining the ‘sin of Sodom’ to be male homosexuality was a later interpretation, which was made by medieval Jewish and Christian writers, as a reaction to Pagan acceptance of homosexuality.

There is abundant Haggadah, ancient Jewish folklore, which tells of the cruelty of Sodom to strangers, and their mistreatment of the poor and homeless. Among other stories (i.e. Jasher spoken of earlier), travelers are given gold but not food; when they starve to death, everything is stolen including the gold and the clothes off their backs, and their bodies are left to rot. We talked about Lots’s daughter, but there was also another woman who assisted a poor man and was smeared with honey and left to be stung to death by bees. Some of these stories are suffused with dark comedic twists. A poor man is assaulted and robbed. Eliezar, a servant of Abraham, is hit on the head when he intervenes. A judge rules that he must pay his assailant for medical treatment! (Bleeding was considered a surgical procedure). Eliezar then hits the judge on the head, drawing blood, and tells the judge to pay his fine.

More References: Ginzburg’s Legends of the Jews and Polano’s The Talmud: Selections, for many more stories along the same lines. After reading these, you will want the Lord to rain down fire and brimstone on the cities as well.

There are also numerous Biblical passages warning about mistreating strangers, (with the story of Lot being implied), for instance this one in the NT: “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” [Heb. 13:2]

Between the original concept of a violation of the law of hospitality and the medieval focus on a particular sexual act, there is an intermediate stage where Sodom was criticized for other reasons entirely. Where Sodom is mentioned in later books of the Tanach and in the New Testament, it is used as an example of a city, which was corrupted by luxury, lacking in values such as charity and humility. Nowhere is this made clearer than in Ezekiel 16:49-50, where Ezekiel, speaking for ‘the Lord God’, enumerates the sins of Sodom:

Notice not one mentions homosexuality.] Behold, this was the iniquity (guilt/sin) of you sister Sodom; pride (arrogance), fullness of bread (excess of food), and prosperous ease (abundance of idleness) was in her and in her daughters; neither did she strengthen (aid) the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

I wanted to give two references from the accepted Canon to Jasher, as there are many people out there that refuse to read the books that are not considered accepted Canon, but remember also, it was the Pharisees that removed them.

Note that in this context ‘abomination’ means human sacrifice and idol worship not homosexuality. The primary sin of Sodom, by this account, was that their society was materialistic, greedy, and uncharitable. Social and economic justice is a thread that runs through the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament alike, and it is not difficult to extrapolate this to modern struggles for equality, such as those of LGBT people. “When government and religious institutions and their leaders perpetuate oppression, it would not be farfetched to say that they are committing the actual sin of Sodom.” ~John Hare

Leviticus

The book of Leviticus was likely composed during the Babylonian exile, from 550 to 500 BC. Leviticus speaks about ritual purity and proscribed behavior. It is traditionally attributed to Moses and it is part of the Pentateuch (Pen-ta-toock) which is the first five books of the Bible.

Wellhausen, in his Prolegomena to the History of Ancient Israel, presented evidence that there were four separate authors of the Tanach (Old Testament). The Levitical laws were added to the text of the Bible at a very late date, by an author high in the religious hierarchy, a priest (hence the ‘P’) which is why the modern scholars believe P was the writer of Leviticus. These are the legalisms that Jesus is constantly deprecating in the New Testament, and the Talmudic Rabbis are always picking apart. Given the force of divine law by fiat, they ruled every aspect of daily life. Once the ancient Jewish ritual complex was destroyed, many of these laws simply became impossible to follow. Others were fossilized prohibitions from the time when Jews were striving to preserve their cultural identity in a sea of paganism.

Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13 are the two Bible verses which are most often cited as support for scriptural condemnation of homosexuality as an Old Testament Commandment, but it is in the context of idolatrous male homosexual acts in worship to Molech as temple prostitutes used for worshiping the false god. Idolatrous sex of any form is condemned, and it is possible the early church fathers thought that anal sex was considered the same. This does not mean that two men cannot have a close relationship like David and Jonathan did.

Now, this could be referring to the common homosexual activity of men having sex with other men yet, there is some odd wording surrounding the passage in chapter 18 & 20, making it appear potentially to be saying men cannot have sex with men in religious related situations. I believe it is likely focused on gay temple prostitution unto Molech, but could also refer to anal sex in general if you reference the early church fathers and possibly Romans 1. Now, some may argue that this passage only applies to that time period, to distance themselves from the culture around them, but God used many of the stories in the Bible as parables for us today, to reach out to us as well so you can’t disregard the old testament you just need to research the times, the history to better understand some things and how they termed them or referred to them. It is very likely that God maybe ok with male same sex platonic relationships, but we cannot simply conclude that God is ok with same-sex unions, where the men are having sexually anal active together. I believe men can be potentially born gay due to Jesus comments on “natural born eunuchs” (which I will talk about more below) and the usage of the word in Jesus time. However, I am concerned that anal sex is a sin, because of a few scriptures and some health statistics allude to its harmful nature (See this link below the video: 1.). It should be pointed out; it does not mention women lying with women. Assuming God is logical in his method of writing, we can see in Leviticus 18, that “men lying with beast” and “women lying with beast” are both sins, which indicates his style of talking about men and women individually in this section of scripture.

There is a condemnation of both male and female cross-dressing in Deuteronomy 22:5 as ‘an abomination’. This “law” doesn’t seem viable, as we were not born with clothes and were clothes really ever an issue with God? Even so, no particular punishment is ever specified for do this. The same chapter specifies harsh punishments for other transgressions like death by stoning of non-virgin brides [Deu 22:13-21], likewise both participants in an act of adultery [Deu. 22:22], and some instances of premarital intercourse [Deu. 22:23].

The Jews were in conflict with Pagans who also resided in ancient Palestine. There was a lot of pressure for Jews to adopt various practices of the Pagans, to become just another religion stirred in with all the false religions. So they developed scriptural precepts (words) which prohibited certain specific Pagan beliefs and practices. Pagan religions of the ancient Near East had male priests who, to honor a Goddess figure, mimicked women. You can read The Syrian Goddess to see more about the belief system of those times, I’ll provide a link below. The priests, called Kedeshim in the Tanach, cross-dressed, took on economic and social roles normally associated with females and in some cases they would even castrated themselves. They also engaged in sexual acts as part of their religious ceremonies, which were similar to Tantric practices, again this is idolatrous sexual worship of false gods.

In 1 Kings 14:24 (listed above), it states ‘there were also sodomites in the land, and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.’ Abomination here should be translated ‘idolatry.’ Using these mistranslated verses to condemn homosexuality in general is misleading.

The rules against males cross-dressing and having sex with other men were based on opposition to the priesthood. It was generalized to the behavior, and the fact that it was a spiritual act to a false god has seemed to have been, forgotten. Homosexuality in Leviticus was used for hundreds of years as a tool for the persecution of gays, and has been quoted in legal reasoning, debates, and many forms of verbal and physical attacks upon gays even today.

The book of Leviticus contains many harsh commandments and regulations, and much of it does not meet contemporary standards of justice and human rights. Jesus said that the law should consist of two rules, namely love for God and love for one’s neighbor; this is very conflicting against all the Levitical laws.

David and Jonathan

There is a very bold description of a same-sex relationship in the Bible, the story of David and Jonathan, in 1 Samuel 18:1-5, 1 Samuel 19:1-7, 1 Samuel 20:30-42, 2 Samuel 1:25-6. While their bond is not described as sexual, it is difficult to characterize it as purely one of friendship as it states that David’s love for Jonathan surpassed the love of a woman. Their souls are described as ‘knit together’. David and Jonathan ‘made a covenant, because David said he loved Jonathan as his own soul.’ The word covenant is significant, because in the Tanach this word always implies a formal legal agreement. To mark this covenant, Jonathan literally gives David the clothes off of his back, as well as other gifts such as weapons. Jonathan successfully intercedes with Saul to spare David’s life. At their last meeting, 1 Samuel 20:41, they are described as kissing one another and weeping together. David’s lamenting for Jonathan and he states as I said above, that his love for him surpasses the love of women. 2 Samuel 1:18-27 is known as ‘the Bow,’ and it is one of the most beloved passages in the Hebrew Bible.

1 Samuel 18:1-4; 20:3-4, 20:41 and 2 Samuel 1:25-26 18:1 And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. 18:2 And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father’s house. 18:3 Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. 18:4 And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that [was] upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle.

20: 3And David answered Jonathan, and said, Thy father knows surely that I have found grace in thy sight, and he said, Let not Jonathan know this, lest he refuse his consent: but as the Lord lives and thy soul lives, as I said, the space is filled up between me and death. 4And Jonathan said to David, What does thy soul desire, and what shall I do for thee. 41And when the lad went in, then David arose from the argab, and fell upon his face, and did obeisance to him three times, and they kissed each other, and wept for each other, for a great while. 42And Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, and as we have both sworn in the name of the Lord, saying, The Lord shall be witness between me and thee, and between my seed and thy seed for ever— even so let it be.

2 Samuel 1:25How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, even the slain ones upon thy high places! 26I am grieved for thee, my brother Jonathan; thou wast very lovely to me; thy love to me was wonderful beyond the love of women.

Looking at these scriptures at face value, especially 20:41and 2 Samuel 1:26, you would think it’s possible you are reading about two men who are in love. Reading these scriptures I cannot assume they are in a sexual relationship nor can I assume they are not, as we are not given all the details of their relationship. This does not give enough detail to say for certain that they were in an actual relationship, but how many guys can say that their love for another guy surpasses that of a woman?

So, knowing that God said David was a man after His own heart and David being in a relationship in some form with Jonathan, that would cause them to make a covenant together and their love be more than the love either of them shared for a woman, that God does not see two men in love being as sinful. What is still to question is the anal sexual relations between men because of the way the early church fathers spoke of it, the possible disease or health risk from it. Although, much of what is spoken of against it in the Bible and other books surrounding the accepted canon that have been removed to hide the truth of so many things, it seems to be idolatrous or sexually immorality driving descriptions are those of men having sex with men in worship to false gods. Idolatry today seems to have been put on the back burner and other so called sins pulled forward and made as a bold expression using words like homosexuality instead of the actual term that was stated to begin with.

New Testament

The Gospels

In the four Gospels, Jesus is portrayed throughout with a message of love and tolerance. Not once does he condemn homosexuals, demand that they be put to death, yet many of His so called modern followers persecute and cause much strife in the gay community in so many different ways.

Side Note: Growing up in this kind of atmosphere and people telling me I’m going to hell, I’m wrong, I need to be fixed, saying that I’m an abomination and threatening to kill me with a gun in my face was not and is not an easy thing to deal with. I, to this day get ugly looks, get yelled at that God hates gays, that I’m going to hell, that I need to be prayed for (I’ll take all the prayers I can get to help me stay strong in the Lord and be able to withstand all the hate), and many other things. Thing is if people would get to know me they would see and realize that God alone sustains me in so many ways and has since I was young. What I do today is not something that I have just always loved doing; it takes a lot of prayer for God to keep me focused and motivated. I’m not one who likes to read or research, and this has become a huge part of my life because of God, not because of me.

The first thing that pops into my head when people speak or show hate towards me, is what Jesus said in Acts 9 and Acts 22:7-8: 1But Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest2and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the Way, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. 3Now as he went on his way, he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven shone around him.4And falling to the ground he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?5And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

When we breathe hate towards others, we are persecuting Jesus Himself according to these verses. Be mindful when you speak hate towards others, as you could very well be persecuting the very one you claim to love.

These things are a profound departure from the rest of the text. For instance, in Matthew 22:37, Jesus is quoted as saying:

22:37 …You shall love the Lord thy God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. 22:38 This is the first and great commandment. 22:39 And the second is like unto it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself. 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

John 13:34, he is additionally quoted as saying: 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 13:35 By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another.

So Jesus turning around and saying ‘He Hate Gays’ would be a bit out of character. The Byzantine Emperor Constantine, put in place discriminatory laws against homosexuals, and then proceeded to use those laws to blackmail and marginalize rivals. You can read Secret History of Procopius, e.g. Chapter XVI, p. 163.

Gay Marriage in the Bible

The Tanach

Actually this is kind of a trick topic. There is no mention of gay marriage in the Bible except, the account of the ‘covenant’ of David and Jonathan. For the vast majority of Christians and Jews including those that believe in Biblical inerrancy, just because something isn’t mentioned in the Bible doesn’t necessarily mean that it is sinful or forbidden. The Bible is a smorgasbord for those who need just one out-of-context quote to justify their personal views on marriage. Depending on which pinhole you look through, the Bible can be cited as approving or forbidding polygamy, monogamy, divorce, and lifelong celibacy. So it is no wonder that there are quotes that can be manipulated in the same way to condemn gay marriage. This is why I have stated multiple times in my blog that there are many mistranslations of the truth. The devil has had plenty of time to sink his ugly teeth in and lead God’s people astray with all the translations of the Bible today, this should be very apparent. Sadly many people believe that in every instance, God steps in and strikes down those who would try to corrupt it and lead us astray. God warns us many times, that we must overcome the world, He warns us that the devil is the father of lies, we have a warning from Jesus about the scribes and Pharisees with His anger towards them in John 2 (these are the ones who have removed many of the books from the accepted canon), and He warns us that we will be deceived if we are not diligently seeking after Him.

Genesis 2:23-4: 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

This passage has mystical overtones which literalists are apt to completely miss or ignore. It implies that Adam was at one time united with Eve in the same body, and the reason that people seek companionship is because they are searching for their missing half. This is similar to Plato’s theory of the androgyne. Also, both in the Tanach and the NT, marriage is used as a metaphor for the union of the soul with God.

In the Tanach, marriage practices such as bigamy, polygamy, ability to have concubines, arranged and Levitical marriages are described as normal, as in fact they were at the time. All of these types of marriage are today either illegal in most western countries or considered highly unusual, much more so than monogamous same sex unions.

  • In Genesis 16 Sarah, Abraham’s wife, encourages Abraham to impregnate her handmaid, Hagar which is where Ishmael came from. At the time Sari was barren and they did not trust in the promises of God as they should have. Later (Genesis 25) Abraham takes another wife, Keturah, who is described as a concubine.
  • In Genesis 29 Jacob marries the sisters Rachel and Leah, after their father Laban tricks him, Laban was also his maternal uncle. Jacob has two sons by Bilhah, Rachel’s handmaid, two sons by Zilpah, Leah’s handmaid, then two sons by Leah, and then Rachel bears Joseph.
  • Six wives of David are named in 2 Sam. 3:2.
  • Solomon is said to have seven hundred wives and three hundred concubines. However, the Talmud (Tractate Sanhedrin) states that a king may have no more than eighteen wives.

Out of all of these examples, only marrying two sisters is explicitly forbidden in Leviticus 18; but it is permitted to marry a deceased wife’s sister.

The New Testament

In at least one passage in the NT, marriage is defined as monogamous.

Mark 10:2-12) 10:2 And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? Tempting him.10:3 And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you? 10:4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away. 10:5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. 10:6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. 10:7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 10:8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. 10:9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. 10:10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter. 10:11 And he said unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, commits adultery against her. 10:12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she commits adultery.

If you take this at face value, it says that remarriage after divorce is equivalent to adultery. The passage 10:6-9 is just a restatement of the passage from Genesis, leading up to the conclusion ‘let no man put asunder’. In 10:10-12, Jesus explains the concept again, just in case we missed the point the first time around.

1 Timothy 4:1-5: 4:1 Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth 4:4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 4:5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Here Paul disapproves of the prohibition of marriage, as well as the practice refraining from meats. This is probably a reference to a Gnostic group; Paul was against the Gnostics, which is likely why he condemned it. A few Gnostics and early Christians were opposed to marriage period, which would include monogamous and heterosexual marriage. Marriage was considered a sin by some of the early Church fathers, and the only way into the kingdom of heaven was to be the lifelong mortification of the flesh. This passage by Paul from the Epistles weighs in against this concept. On the other hand, some Gnostics and early Christians practiced group marriage or what today is termed as polygamy which is also considered to be against the law now days.

The sanctioned form of marriage in Judaism and Christianity has continued to evolve over the centuries. Policies on divorce have varied widely. There was a celebration or observance for same sex unions in one branch of the Eastern Orthodox Church. During the Middle Ages and well into the renaissance, the majority of European marriages were ‘common-law,’ and had no religious sanction: church weddings were far too expensive for most people (still are today). Mormons originally practiced polygamy, although most of them ceased that as a condition for Utah statehood. Today, same sex unions are consecrated in some liberal Jewish and Christian denominations.

Society has changed the definition of marriage widely, and religion has followed by sanctioning it. Some interpret the passages above to imply condemnation of gay marriage, or to justify their prejudices against LGBT people.

1 Corinthians 6:9 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind. 1:10 nor whoremongers, nor them that defile themselves with mankind, nor men stealers, nor liars, nor perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

1 Timothy 1:10 references the term “effeminate” or mal-ak-os’ 3120 means either a male prostitute, or a boy slave used for gay sex, or a male who submits himself to unnatural lewdness. If you take the root meaning of the Greek word it is: “male bedder”. A lot of words in the Greek New Testament are derived from doctrines and scriptures in the Old Testament; it appears to be an illusion to Leviticus 18 and 20.

However, Leviticus 18 and 20 also seem to have some odd wording surrounding them, which brings about some circumstantial evidence that it may be focusing more so on the practice of male temple prostitution (idolatry). So, to me, this one is a little difficult to know if it is referring to all sexually active two men. I believe it is referring to male temple prostitutes and maybe those who enslave men to use for sex. I do not believe it is referring to men who have a love or close friendship with another man, otherwise King David would not have been a servant of God, due to his strong love for Jonathan. We cannot conclude that anyone who is not “straight” is going to Hell.

Eunuchs

Matthew 19:10-12 10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with [his] wife, it is not good to marry. 19:11 But he said unto them, All [men] cannot receive this saying, save [they] to whom it is given. 19:12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from [their] mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive [it], let him receive [it].

Note this scripture; it is said that a “eunuch” that was “born from mother’s womb” is what we would today call a “homosexual”. A eunuch according to the Greek is one who abstains from marriage, or one who is castrated, or one who serves to protect women in harems, etc. And the one definition from the Greek that homosexuals are referring to is “1c) one naturally incapacitated”. So the debate would be, are they born without penis/testicles, or is it referring to them born naturally disposed to not want women (hence wanting men). It could mean a man who just doesn’t want to get married to a woman or a celibate man who has love for a man. It is though very possible they were what is now termed gay, as most eunuchs in Jesus’ time were gay, as can be seen in the usage of the word in various other Greek writings of that time. You would assume then, if they do not want to marry a woman, they would want a man, which may or may not be the case. I guess, the point is, you can’t assume gay male anal sex (as stated above) is ok because of this passage, but we can say that Jesus is saying some are born gay. So, it is likely Jesus was referring to gay men when he spoke of naturally born eunuchs. The problem is there just isn’t a lot of data in the Bible to make strong declarations either way other than the lack of stating any bold facts as God does with so many other things. Again, just because something isn’t mentioned in the Bible doesn’t necessarily mean that it is sinful or forbidden.

[8]And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These things says the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

[9]I know your works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but you are rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

[10] Fear none of those things which you shall suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that you may be tried; and you shall have tribulation ten days: be you faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown of life.

[11] He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches; He that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death.

Smyrna Notes:
He has nothing bad to say about the church at Smyrna, they haven’t left their first love. Rev. 20:6 He is promising them that they shall not be hurt by the second death, they are promised life if they overcome the trials of the devil. These people are willing to die and suffer poverty for God, their first Love, and Jesus said they are spiritually rich. They were faithful unto death. Satan is trying to infiltrate the church first with false apostles, scribes, and Pharisees. These are the ones who have taken the books from us that we were warned not to forget. You can read in the books that Peter, Paul, and Jude wrote, and they reference the books of Adam and Eve (Paul quotes), Assumption of Moses, Ahikar, Judith, Tobit, Jasher, Enoch (Jude quotes), Gospel of Thomas, Jubilees, and many others. The religious authorities have taken the keys of knowledge and have hidden them, which is what Jesus says in Luke, as well as in the Gospel of Thomas.

We have to fight for the faith that was in the beginning. The accepted Canon is still the Word of God, but it is not the full Word, it lacks the keys. The institution has sacrificed God’s Word to the idols of religion. They took the power and enslaved you because they took the canon and told you that this book is in and this book is out and if you speak against it you are a heretic. God will let you see with your spiritual eyes and hear with your spiritual ears, to see past the lies of these false apostles.

Even through everything already spoken of and that will be spoken of through this dive into Revelation, these passages confirm that Jesus is walking with us through the ages, He never forsakes us. He is no different than who He was in the beginning. He sticks with all these church ages, even though they do things that they shouldn’t. What I mighty loving God we serve.

Sin of Sodom

The Sin of Sodom

Then there is the story of the destruction of the city of Sodom, (Genesis 18:16-19:29). Sodom has given its name to the now somewhat quaint-sounding term ‘Sodomy’, which originally meant a specific male homosexual sex act. Eventually it was expanded to mean any form of sexual expression which happened to be illegal, including things that married heterosexual couples do every day.

However, a close reading reveals the name to be a bit of a misnomer. To start off, Sodom is described simply as a ‘wicked’ place. Lot, Abraham’s nephew, goes to live there to see if even one righteous person can be found there. The sexual theme starts when two disguised angels visit Lot. A mob, described as consisting of the men of the city, ‘both young and old’, attacks Lot’s house and demands that Lot allow them to ‘know’ (in the language of the KJV) the two men. To ‘know’ is, of course, the famous KJV circumlocution for having sexual intercourse.

The next passage bears closer examination. Lot (Gen 19:8) asks the mob to ‘do’ his two virgin daughters instead, but not the two guests, ‘for … they came under the shadow of my roof.’ The rest of the story is well-known: divine wrath ensues, the mob is blinded, the cities of the plain are destroyed by fire and brimstone while Lot and his family flee, Lot’s wife is turned to a pillar of salt because she looks back, and only Lot and his daughters escape. In an often ignored coda to this story, Lot’s daughters have incest with him by getting him intoxicated, (Gen 19:31), presumably to repopulate the country; a similar motif is found in the story of Noah. As in other Biblical narratives, even the heroes end up committing horrendous sins, driven by circumstances. But many ignore the entire context of the story in the rush to justify their own bigotry.

The sin of the city of Sodom was the originally considered to be the violation of the rights of Lot’s guests. Defining the ‘sin of Sodom’ to be male homosexuality was a later interpretation, which was made by medieval Jewish and Christian writers, as a reaction to Pagan acceptance of homosexuality. Near Eastern hospitality, to this day, implies a responsibility to protect guests under one’s roof. The fact that Lot was ready to make a huge sacrifice by offering up his virgin daughters to the mob instead of his guests underlines this.

There is abundant Haggadah, ancient Jewish folklore, which tells of the cruelty of Sodom to strangers, and their mistreatment of the poor and homeless. Among other stories, travelers are given gold but not food; when they starve to death, everything is stolen including the gold and the clothes off their backs, and their bodies are left to rot. One of Lot’s unfortunate daughters is burned to death for the crime of giving a starving man food. Another woman who assists a poor man is smeared with honey and left to be stung to death by bees. Some of these stories are suffused with dark comedic twists. A poor man is assaulted and robbed. Eliezar, a servant of Abraham, is hit on the head when he intervenes. A judge rules that he must pay his assailant for medical treatment! (Bleeding was considered a surgical procedure). Eliezar then hits the judge on the head, drawing blood, and tells the judge to pay his fine. See Ginzburg’s Legends of the Jews and Polano’s The Talmud: Selections, for many more stories along the same lines. After reading these, I guarantee you’ll be rooting for the Lord to rain down the brimstone on the cities of the plain…

There are also numerous Biblical passages warning about mistreating strangers, (with the story of Lot being implied), for instance this one in the NT: “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” [Heb. 13:2]

Between the original concept of a violation of the law of hospitality and the medieval focus on a particular sexual act, there is an intermediate stage where Sodom was criticized for other reasons entirely. Where Sodom is mentioned in later books of the Tanach and in the New Testament, it is used as an example of a city which was corrupted by luxury, lacking in values such as charity and humility. Nowhere is this made clearer than in Ezekiel 16:48-50, where Ezekiel, speaking for ‘the Lord God’, enumerates the sins of Sodom: “Saith the Lord GOD…Behold, this was the iniquity of … Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness … neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good”.

Note that in this context ‘abomination’ means human sacrifice and idol worship, not shared tax breaks for long-term same-sex couples, or sexual practices you can see on cable after 10 o’clock. Furthermore, ‘abomination’ is at the end of the laundry list. The primary sin of Sodom, by this account, was that their society was materialistic, greedy and uncharitable. Social and economic justice is a thread that runs through the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament alike, and it is not difficult to extrapolate this to modern struggles for equality, such as those of LGBT people. When governmental and religious institutions and their leaders perpetuate oppression, it would not be farfetched to say that they are committing the actual sin of Sodom.

Jude 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication (They have changed the meanings of the words over the centuries the 17th century meaning of fornication or porneia in English meant idolatry and prostitution, it has been changed.), and going after strange flesh (Idolatry or going after another species of flesh. Sodom was completely ungodly they were cruel people and they tried to rape angels which is the reference to strange flesh non-human flesh (aka not gay)), are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

2 Peter 6 and having reduced [the] cities of Sodom and Gomorrha (S&G complete rebelled against God’s will. If someone came into those cities, they would beat them and laugh at them, rob them, chain them and watch them starve to death, not to mention going after strange flesh (angels). They raped and kill etc. In fact Lot’s daughter got killed by a Sodomite, because she felt compassion for a beggar that they chained up to allow him to starve and die. (Jasher 18:11 – 19:53)) to ashes, condemned [them] with an overthrow, setting [them as] an example to those that should [afterwards] live an ungodly life;

Ezekiel 16:49 – 50
[This is several different translations all together as I have added the different terms in parenthesis. Notice not one mentions homosexuality.]
Behold, this was the iniquity (guilt/sin) of you sister Sodom; pride (arrogance), fullness of bread (excess of food), and prosperous ease (abundance of idleness) was in here and in her daughters; neither did she strengthen (aid) the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

Genesis 19
1 And in the evening there came two [a]Angels to Sodom: and Lot sat at the gate of Sodom, and Lot saw them, and rose up to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face to the ground.

2 And he said, See my lords, I pray you turn in now into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early and go your ways. Who said, Nay, but we will abide in the street all night.

3 Then [b]he pressed upon them earnestly (Why do you think Lot bid them to not stay in the streets? He was trying to protect them from what is spoken of in Jasher they raped travelers, starved them, stole from them, and etc. every kind of cruelty you could imagine.), and they turned in to him, and came to his house, and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they [c]did eat.

[Along with all the cruelty they showed travelers, they also killed one of Lot’s daughters for helping a man in need of food. They raped their own women and swapped them off several times a year. The sin of Sodom was not homosexuality by any means.]

Genesis 19
4 But before they went to bed, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom compassed the house round about, from the young even to the old, [d]all the people from all quarters.

5 Who crying unto Lot said to him, Where are the men, which came to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

6 Then Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

7 And said, I pray you, my brethren, do not so wickedly.

8 Behold now, I have two [e]daughters, which have not known man: them will I bring out now unto you, and do them as seemeth you good: only unto these men do nothing: [f]for therefore are they come under the shadow of my roof.

9 Then they said, Away hence: and they said, He is come alone as a stranger, and shall he judge and rule? we will now deal worse with thee than with them. So they pressed sore upon Lot himself, and came to break the door.
